.. and share price down. It's the curse of good news again.
Nice one ng. Bet you were touched by how concerned your chums here were that you were on morphine. Perhaps too worried to ask if you were OK. Impressive tick up on today's news.
Of course, Darola won't see this, but to say the goalposts haven't moved is risible. Every trigger for this share has come to nothing. To say it's just a question of timescale now renders all the clever past predictions on this simply errant nonsense. But we're required to ignore that, naturally.
Filter me too. Because I'll continue to question all you goal post shifters.
Few days off? Presumably your bff's on the BOD are keeping you posted? They're certainly not telling us ordinary folk anything,
Aside from the St George's greetings all very quiet. I understand we're now in "a range", and that the timescale for the RNS has been adjusted. However, that being the case, would anyone care to comment on why we have moved "down range" again today? A decided un-tick upwards as Eric Blair might have said. Happy ANZAC in advance for Wednesday.
Well Tom, responding to a reasonable post with the single word, "mental", would be an example of not really being interested I'd say. Maybe I'm wrong. NG was quick to agree, as he always is. Tell me NG, would you say that to a fellow veteran with PTSD? This is the 21st century. My reasoning has not changed. I really am interested to know why, with all it seemingly has going for it, this share doesn't move at all or moves backward? Haven't suggested, and won't suggest a buyback. You really can't say there have not been a lot of supposed triggers for this share that have come to nothing. NG, you are laughable. If anybody else wants to get their head up fsj's bottom they're going to bang it on your feet. You haven't an original thought to your name. You've simply latched onto two or three zealots. As I've explained before, I'm in profit so can afford to hang on to make any decision to leave this share. And finally, about BT's American accent, he's made it clear several times he's from the UK but lives in the States. Don't worry about replying. This is not really a discussion board unless you agree with the prevailing dogma.
Tom, your statement that you're interested in others' reasoning is rather contradicted by your actions, isn't it? NG, still acting as Little Sir Echo.
Very illuminating. You can trot out any number of platitudes but the basic facts have remained unaltered for some months now. Despite endless good news and apparently excellent fundamentals, the share price isn't doing anything. Down again today. If things are looking so good why are we in this position? If you are going to tell me it's just a matter of time, perhaps you'd take a stab at a rough timescale? I find your attitude as puzzling as you clearly find mine. Are we not here to make money? What is it that will drive a price rise in your view, given none of the other triggers put forward here have done so? I don't think these are unreasonable questions.
What extra effort do you feel we, as shareholders, should be putting in exactly?
Rather quiet here. Does anyone have any news of professionals' reports following visit?
Thankfully, all out some time ago. Just watched the interview and would class it as the finest exchange of horsesh.t I've ever seen. The man couldn't lie straight in bed. Worth staying in touch with this share just to see how many disasters he can oversee in a row. If they drill into the earth' s core and send the world spinning off its axis that should put the exit price up to a tenner.
You've come a long way in a short time ngninv, from when you were telling us you were new to the game and this was your only share. You're very free and easy with your comments now you're an expert. And it's loser. Just saying, like. Nice to see you standing up for the underdog, Johny. I suppose you feel personally wounded when people say unkind things.
I didn't think the faux gravitas following your return from Mali would last long. Back to the usual Viz tribute.
We’ll agree optimism is the better option in general, but the mindless, and as it has turned out baseless, optimism that has characterised the approach to this share is a bridge too far for me. I’d sooner base my approach to what is a significant investment for me on something a bit more logical.
You go some way to proving my point sands. To answer your question, I stay because I have enough in profit to do so for the time being. All the talk of the fundamentals is true, so this could come right. Conversely, the fact that the sp remains anchored despite those fundamentals, and endless missed predicted triggers, leads me to wonder if we are being held back deliberately. If Hum is bought at 45p I’ll still double my money. That’s why I’m hanging about but it doesn’t mean I have to buy everything that’s said on here. I reserve the right to be sceptical and when I sell it won’t be on the guidance of the unquestioning evangelists here. Maybe you’d like to give us your view on why all of the good news we’ve had leaves us substantially below the time when we were a mud patch?
borderterrier, you should know that question, however reasonably put, will not be answered on this board. You will be dismissed or abused for asking it, as you will simply be regarded by those who drive the agenda here as "not being with the programme". It's akin to the old, "America, love it or leave it" stance - you can't really argue against it. Before you ask, ngninv, I won't be leaving just yet. However, if I'd paid what you've paid for your shares, I'd be a bit more wary of what's said on here. Aggression isn't the only quality that should make you follow someone, as you'll know from your army days.
