Yes, you said on ADVFN that you might buy back in when the price dropped some more. I see you still can't bring yourself to deny you baled out. Your opinion is unimportant to me. You've dragged a lot of people down on this share but come out smelling of roses. You are simply beneath contempt, the very definition of a paid ramper.
I really don't care if you find my comments boring. What you have done here, with your constant ramping over many months needs to be called out. Cards on the table, I believe you have sold out, and are saying just enough to stay honest (in your own mind at least). Long term followers of your position here and elsewhere can't fail to see you in your true colours now as this share heads for oblivion, having enriched only the BOD and their selected chums along the way.
Very interesting to hear about your ink, FSJ. Not quite the same as saying you didn't bale at 21,5p is it? Your comment on ADVFN that you might buy back in would, technically at least, place you as taking the "long and strong" view. You are choosing your words very carefully.
Yes, all that chatter! You're out then, Frank?
It might or it might not. Frank's reply to ngninv's post seemed a little ambiguous i felt. I'm sure he'll let all of us who have followed his posts know one way or the other.
Of course what, Frank? You're saying over on ADVFN that you baled a few weeks back at 21.5p.
Marmited, there is no reason for you to place any great store on my opinion but, for what it's worth, l believe you to be an honest poster, and that your appraisal is a fair one. I have a small holding here, which l keep because there is, in my view, an outside chance a deal could be struck. I'm not overly confident of that but if my investment here is lost it won't put me on the streets. As you say, there is a potential risk/reward decision to be made.
J's approach is different, and the constant talk of jam tomorrow, and of enormous rises, amounts to only one thing in my book. They are also very wearing. The predictions made have patently not come to pass, and are just replaced with new ones. Why would anyone keep doing that? Are you not embarrassed J by being wrong so many times, and for so long? I would be. And to try and stave off criticism by accusing people of being multiple account holders is really quite irrelevant. I have one account here, but if others choose to post under different ID's, l fail to see why their.criticisms are invalid. Marmited suggested you might be criticised for posting about this share on other boards. Frankly, l wish you would refrain from posting here if all your posts are simply wishful thinking, or worse.
I only post under this name, but nice diversion tactic. The point I made, clearly l thought, was that you have been predicting very significant increases "imminently" for months. " Refer to previous posts" is no answer.
If no deal is struck, the money will run out. The board has not struck the deal in over five years. I ask again, when do you feel we can expect the increases you have suggested as being around the corner for many months?
I see my last post has been deleted. Let me pose a direct question then. Having predicted for months that significant upward movement upward in the share price is imminent (your mooted, not muted, levels being between 8p and 40p), would you care to take a stab at a reasonable timescale? My concern is that everyday BOD salaries and other overheads will simply empty the pot. SP down again this morning.
I see your attempts to spread your GBP ramping to the ECO boards have met with pretty short shrift Jim.
You might have been better off being patient for another day.
It's not really talk here is it? More a monologue.
Been back to September on your posts, at which time a deal was imminent. Can't bring myself to go any further.
Well, BlackBat17, I think that was just an MM with an eye on this board, and a sense of humour. Still, I imagine we will be given full chapter and verse on why matters in Italy are such a positive from our Special Correspondent pretty soon. His most optimistic take on the future SP so far has been 40p. In light of developments I imagine that will have to be revised upward.
I posted here on 13th December of last year pointing out, politely I hope, that Jimarillo's seemingly endless positive posts, having all come to naught, were a tiny bit wearing.
Since then there has been a continuing avalanche of similar posts, all pointing to an upcoming deal (caveat being this is in J's opinion of course). I think the share price may have dropped a bit since then but, certainly, all predictions have once again withered on the vine.
Please, please ease off. It does not do us any good to hear all this stuff ad nauseum. I hold and will continue to do so pro tem. Having had my say, I have nothing further to say. I will therefore say nothing further. I find it a useful approach.
I am a holder of this share and have been following this board for some time.
It's a pretty civilised place in my opinion, and I don't seek to change that. However, I have to say, Jimarillo, your frequent and regular posts on how great things are, as the share price falls and languishes, is becoming a little wearing. We all hope for good things but constant posts about good news around the corner, which don't come to anything, aren't really doing any of us any good.
Well, there's been a lot going on since I last visited, but clearly the underlying situation is a positive one (at least according to the company's arm's - length mouthpiece). Where's johnywaz and the rest of the backing band?
Looks like a good buy for Frank's target of 50p by year end.
Was the prize awarded after the votes in the ballet box were counted, JW, like in the election? Always had you down as a closet culture vulture, when you're not threatening people, that is. Shouldn't you be on ADVFN offering to knock people's teeth out, zeberdie?
Au revoir.
I did read your post. Several times in fact as I was surprised by it. Did you read it?
My question was do you think everything here was kosher. I think in this context we would agree that word should be taken to mean, "above board" or "on the level".
You replied that you were not experienced to know (so qualifying your answer by stating you weren't claiming any specific expertise or knowledge), but that you suspected not (unequivocally that your suspicion was that things are not kosher).
Don't get me wrong, I don't think either of us is concerned about the other's agreement. However, if you didn't wish to agree with me, the issue arises from what you wrote, not from my misreading it.
I'll be taking another little break from posting now. Life really is too short. I've made my views clear. I think the BOD are acting like arrogant, amateurish clowns, and the only reason I haven't sold is that I hope a takeover will be our salvation.
We agree then. I strongly suspect we're having our leg pulled, to put it mildly.
Sands. Very clever to try and draw me into saying this is a conspiracy. It's a word that has a connotation with "lunatic" here. Let me ask the same question of you in a different way - do you think everything here is kosher?
