luckylurker: This Rejuvenated PFD will keep on re-inventing itself I am sure. They will find new growth markets somehow, organically grow existing ones, launch newer products etc.. and keep growing handsomely both sales & profits. Sure this is Pandemic pace growth & can't grow forever at these levels. Other share investments look favourable now but when the economy turns down will they still be so? Also this PFD is primed for a Bid Takeover & then the share price gains will shine !

dans23: There will be zig zags in the share price. That blip to the downside may be so. Equally share upside surprises may happen with unexpected news. Happened so may times before last year, read all those RNS's. Then a broken upside trend will re-continue with improved shares sentiment. No way of really knowing though. That's the nature of markets.

Dogger: Oh I can only dream of that £3 PFD shares price ! Maybe one day again & wish that for you again. There were buyers at 115p recent highs. So lets see what happens. Lots of positives here as new revitalised company with BODs performing well & a Marketing Team now taking Full P&L ownership of brands. So no excuses to keep outperforming their markets unlike the previous management lot.

Markets in subdued static mode at the moment. Seems like MM's are also guiding PFD share price lower. Maybe flush the sellers before next move up. It has fallen a bit from all time highs. As many have said here yesterday & before there is value at these levels. Maybe the media, shares analysts, brokers, PI's pick up on this. Here's hoping ...

Hi Rich62. Nice to receive your message. I'm not sure PFD shares going to 80/90 'ish soon. Too much positives around PFD & upgrade Broker target at 130p now. I think these few days were a bout of profit taking/ short selling. I would think it's going to rise from here. Biden is US President tomorrow and optimism will sweep global share markets on a rising stimulus package for real this time. I get what you're saying and I think there is over optimism about a Post Pandemic Recovery that will be gradual. Sure most of us want to go on eat outs, outings and there is pent up demand for holidays. However, that some way off & I like you think actual rising company sales & profits matter far more !

luckylurker: PFD is a rejuvenated company & transforming from the old dog days. So there is upside to these shares. The market adjusts and both upsides and downsides are possible. Just play it how you think and have no regrets. Not worth beating yourself over. Yesterday PFD trading was 115 to 108. Today trading is 108 to near 103. At some point it's going to bounce back especially with 130p Peel Hunt Broker Forecast.

Hi. Just for your info: I got done by short sellers yesterday. I was a forced seller of a heck of a lot shares in yesterday’s PFD shares trading. It was a case of market churn, I understood this & did not complain. Lucky I broke even on all my trades but missed out on profit. So today when I got info I passed it onto you all. I really had no idea what to do in today’s morning trade. No strategy as such. I hope it helped you anyway.

Shares Should Rise - Peel Hunt Shares Broker, I see have upgraded PFD share price to 130p from 125p. Maybe this sell off overdone. Nothing rises & falls in a straight line. I would be buyer at these price levels. I can see UK markets rising in line with US markets ahead of Janet Yellen keynote economy speech today. Also I expect Value Investors to buy on the dip & possible after market close today. GLA

Rich62: You have done the best thing for you and that's to sell out of PFD. That's your call. It may take some time for the PFD share price to stabilise. There will be more market opportunities to buy PFD shares at much lower prices. Share Markets may shudder too as too many complexities around Coronavirus, Brexit, UK Trade Talks (Trade), Biden Gov, Gov Debt, Corporate Bankruptcy, High Unemployment, Higher Inflation, Higher taxation and many more.

This is bad news ... UK share market volatility swings. This is cold depths of winter trading coming and can be depressive. FTSE100 can not even hold onto the early morning gains today. Still it is the best time to pick up bargain shares in the coming weeks, months !

Lucky: Anything can happen with shares prices at the moment. I don't know what to do either, Buy What? At What price? PFD went down to 104 this morning and not sure that is lower enough for me to buy. It may even swing higher sometime in the coming weeks. Just nobody knows. Sitting on a big pile of cash for now. Even that Boo share is down another 4% today (324). Re: PFD RNS - Uncertainty about a Dividend and how to use their huge cash pile is quite negative as they don't even have a clue about way forward, negative here.

PFD share price needs to drop more. Before buyers think its worth buying again. Me & Dans23 got out as we saw this coming. I sold 100% of my holdings yesterday. I had loads of these PFD shares. This market is heading down as I said yesterday. AO.com was down 7% down just now and its results today were really good.

PFD no buying shares pressure today. Would have expected surge of buying at days end today. I guess folks think equity markets have peaked for a while. No doubt PFD trading results tomorrow will be wonderful but will there be any lasting share price gains or will it fall on this trading update? I'm with dan23 here. Boo shares down a lot since exceptional results last week & not recovered. Only small gains with other supermarkets like Tesco.I think larger downsides on shares market coming soon. Too fast too soon risen. Biden comes in & change a foot, S&P500 down nearly 1% today. I for one took cash off the table today and kept my profits safe.

Kallumama: You’re right on news flow. I reckon some indication of company way forward with Tuesday’s news. That would set the stage for 2021 transition. This may edge up share price & hoping as got loads of these. We all know these are undervalued shares but some spark needs to happen for a share surge. Nobody really knows timing though as surprises can happen. So trading the shares is high risk & get caught short too, having to buy them back at even higher levels. So either wait for shares re-rating & sit tight or take high risk with potentially higher rewards. Each to their own views. Just to say I noticed shares price reversal yesterday to get to near year highs. That maybe good news leak out before Tuesday’s trading statement. Well Namaste, Khem Choo, Bye Bye until Tuesday, GLA

What I read today. Asia drag share markets down even though Bidens big stimulus package announced. Concerns about that also surface:

Chinese blue-chips shed 0.97% amid worries over rising COVID-19 cases in China, and after the Chinese central bank drained liquidity from the country's banking system, suggesting a tightening bias in monetary policy.

More than 28 million people are under lockdown in China. On Friday it reported the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in more than 10 months.

Luckylurker, dan23: Lucky you & great timing/skill for Boo pick up @ 200p. I missed it & I didn’t take the risk as not familiar with rag trade going ons in the UK. I got put off by slavery aspects mostly. PFD might fall on results as share rise could be factored into even though it may have good results. PFD house brokers only inch up SP target in the past & may not do this on results day but in future weeks. That’s a real worry & rather like Boo shares down 5% today on results that were really good. I personally may sell PFD shares now, lock into profits & also keep some back as a hedge. Nothing is straight forward with PFD as we know it is a most unpredictable share to own !
