I had to weigh the pros and cons. Investor sentiment as reflected in the most recent share price movements. So no I got no insider news. Also I needed cash to invest in some other shares. So it was my own timing as well.

I mean a Premier Foods general company update & also trading news. Clear up any confusion.

dans23: I agree with you. You know I blame Premier Foods Board of Directors. They should have some pre-close period trading update news. That way we all have some idea how they are thinking. Sadly this may have not been the case. Myself, I’m not like if you lose money than I make more money. That’s not me. So all the best for tomorrow.

Kallumama: I pay £3.99 commission to the share brokers on each shares trade & so how would that make the Brokers so rich from my share trades. They also need to get paid for the broker service they provide like everyone needs to get paid for their jobs.

Kallumama: Some like me are share traders on this Premier chats board. So the StockMarket throws up daily good profit opportunities to trade shares. So I will sell shares that I think will not give me a good profits return & invest where I can make a profit. I’ve told you so many times that no one person can influence the share price except the big players. So yes there is always chances shares will go down a lot or go up lots. I know it’s not your thing but don’t rubbish our style of investing just because you don’t agree with it.

Kallumama: You don’t control this Premier chats board. Nobody does. Every one has an opinion. I see so many of your opinions with continual optimism which I don’t entirely agree with. Nevertheless you still do your posts. I again say these are my own thoughts. Each to their own views.

I’m out now. Sold my shares in Premier Foods. There is too much risk for me. Last time on results day these shares down 6%. If market not liking what company says these shares could plummet more. I don’t see investor demand currently even at 105p sticky price mark. Today morning no doubt Premier shares should be up in a strong StockMarket but they dropped. I see many other shares I can invest with better trading profits. I now have high cash pile, good for me. I don’t know why investors are undervaluing this company as long term has good prospects. I wonder what surprises come up on Premier results day. I can’t see steady as she goes. Surely there has to be a golden surprise somewhere? Wonder what though?

This 105p is sticky for Premier shares. As I know too well from past experience. I do expect 105p to breach. Then Premier shares should resume upwards trend, may be bumpy ride up. I would hope share price hitting last time price highs.

Early lab results and real life data suggest the Pfizer vaccine can protect against the new variants, although slightly less effectively. Too many CoVid variants out there but new bolster vaccine injections will counter the worst effects of the virus. I’m an optimist. Look how far we have come in the last year!

So we can’t be in perpetual economic & social lockdowns & the economies needs to open up safely. With populations have high CoVid injection rates, UK especially & some protection against CoVid variants it seems quite likely that the UK economy opens up safely & cyclical growth shares will be in demand. I do agree there may be selective localised lockdowns with increased CoVid surge testing.

Don’t you worry. Plenty shares out there to buy. I’m not a fanatic about Premier Foods.

To be truthful I’m not sure what to do? Sell Out Premier Shares or Hold Them before results day. I fear no dividend or too little dividend payout will mean massive sell orders on results day this week & shares go down a lot. Do I want this hassle as there are other discounted shares in my eyes that I can buy now & make trading profits. GLA

A Dividend is much preferable. The Divi moneys go directly to all shareholders. Share buybacks benefit big fund investors where company buys back shares they own in Premier Foods. Then it releases funds for them to invest moneys elsewhere. So ordinary shareholders lose out but less shares overall they say makes shares rise. Not so always especially with indebted companies. If Premier says Divi payments coming in future (not now anytime soon) as debt payback is more preferable then I think shares may sink down on results day. That is a big risk too & millions of share sell orders on top as really volatile day. I think they are really keen on paying down debt but new KOP shareholder wants a divi yield (as most will) but could they wait? They said debt reduction is more preferable before many times. So you take your chances on results day for those wanted to make shorter term share gains ! Hope for the best but it’s a tough call.

I sat trading shares in the park last year. Then Premier shares started riding higher. I bought in & they wizzed up 15% on news flow. I think if surprise news flow it might happen again. It looks like Market Makers want to push up this share price. Then what about HSBC Broker pathetic valuation rating that Kallumama kindly showed us was substantially undervaluing Premier Shares on Enterprise Value alone. They HSBC may be forced to up their Broker Price forecasts lifting the Premier Shares Price.

We been here before with this share ride. I remember too well. Once 105p passes, it’s all way up. Markets heading up after American Fed bank says it can see inflation as transitory. This gives markets upside breathing space for now. Footsie players will be demand for now I reckon. Then who know what will happen. So I would be buying Premier Foods & not selling now. More days of share gains to come. GLA

Our new KOP investor prefers a benchmark Dividend payment. I would think KOP & Premier Foods may have discussed this. So a Dividend is coming. The size & timing unknown as no reveals. So wait n see. Some investors may be dumping shares now as markets uncertain with inflation. Nothing to do with Premier Foods prospects. So be calm & let sellers pass onto buyers in the coming days. This share price has upwards momentum !

Share volatility is here to stay. Now more so. Inflation, Covid, High Debts, Bankruptcy, Middle East & Russia fears to name a few. Flipside some companies announcing great profits & Cyclical stocks likely outperform due to pent up demand. So ebbs & flows, speculation & then silly speculation of the likes of Crypto currencies. So if you’re lucky then can trade nicely on speculation. Few are blessed so lucky though, risk taking & timing is key !

This time I think Premier Food shares will rise on results day. Investors generally more cautious now with inflation fears hitting markets & this favours defensive food shares. The KOP investor means some stability for a change. Other food companies that have reported great results & the market pushes shares up. I do hope for a better positive company outlook though to kick up shares more. Then some dividend is better than none but it’s a balance with the need to reduce debt further. Then CoVid global situation worsening with multiplicity of CoVid variants & possibility of slower full opening of economies does favour at home eating. What extent who knows? So I’m will not sell my Premier shares before results day next week.
