I assume that the failed bidders Consort Medical are also clients of Carclo....in which case the delayed medical orders affecting the first half results are possibly due to issues with Consort too? Therefore i'm not reading too much into the medical delays.
Sounds like everything on track for full year now and guidance remains the same.

Subsequent 3 RNSs state that Ennismore now have subsatantial 5.7%. Half year results out on 10th oct, hoping for an improvement and suspect that any more bad news is probably in the price already.

Dunno, when Gen 3 comes out someone can make a comparison about how advanced it is....

Yes agreed it is very quiet considering this is now a bid target. Nice not to have the usual invasion of momentum traders/mad rampers that normally pile on to the boards in these cases tho!

Yes good to see him buying after recent suspension and results. I'm a bit surprised that this has only been trading sideways since the recent 'relief' spike following re- admission rather than moving up more. The buy volume has been good tho (compared to pre accounting issue) and i think further moves up are looking more probable now.

Most of them are buys not sells. (around 6.4p) Try doing some dummy buys and sells and you can normally get a better idea instead of using the colours here

Seems reasonably encouraging in a 'steady as she goes' type of manner. The management seem to have got thro the recent declines in revenue, getting back to modest growth and profit. New sources of cable turnover have been secured as per this quote- 'Helping offset the decline in sales to Volex's traditional markets, the Group began power cord production for one of the world's leading electric vehicle manufacturers. The account has already scaled to a multi-million dollar account, sitting within the top 10 customers of the division. We expect further growth in this account in the coming year. Production of these power cords is from our Shenzhen factory in China'

Putting a high percent of available capital into a loss making alternative energy stock is a very high risk strategy (i generally never put more than 5 per cent in any one share). But the reward is potentially high too. From the recent results, units in production/deployed went from 9 (apr 17) to 54 (dec17) and orders went from 5 to 43 (same dates) so despite the fact that not much money is currently made the company is expanding rapidly. Vanadium price is going up which is negatively effecting sentiment here (it's an expense) but in the long term, i expect to profit here (like you, i'm currently in the red) GLAH

Yes a big relief to see it trading again and up 17% and a nice little earner for those who risked buying just before the suspension.

I looked at the website 6 months ago and again recently and i have a suspicion that the same three jobs were there both times (tho i'm not 100 per cent sure they were the same). So either they're having trouble recruiting the right people or something else is going on...!?

Yes i'm in for some more today following the update. It's not so much about losing money yesterday (expected), but about future sales and the size of the market (huge). It's frustrating that the switch to renewable tech is taking so long and many companies have gone to the wall whilst we wait (to de-carbonise our power) but i think our time will come soon with some more patience.

My take on the RNS figures are that the 14000 mtsq refers to higher margin cut and polished tiles running thro their (recently completed) factory, whereas i understand that they also supply bulk marble to other marble processors. Your calculations are interesting but i'm not convinced that they show a need to supply 100000mtsq to break even when you consider that the revenues come from different sources? (ie polished tiles and bulk marble blocks). Correct me if i'm wrong...
