Good morning, OceanFox. The company have said that they intend to use a room and pillar programme after the initial roadways have been created. The excavation process used in any particular area (either continuous miner or drill and blast) will be determined by the seam thickness at whatever location we’re working (the shelf is thickest to the north up toward SM2 and SM7).

Welcome back! Good to see you’re astute enough to get back in despite the price having moved against you. Unfortunately many PIs let a good share go simply because they can’t entertain the idea of buying back at a higher price. I’ve no doubt your faith will be rewarded.

Good afternoon, KISSIMMEE. You’ve made 5 posts on this board so far, and I’ve noticed all of which reference MMs (or Retail Service Provider to use their modern title). And yet, all of them show a degree of misunderstanding as to the market making role, and in particular, what little bearing it has on a highly liquid share traded on the SETs platform (as Sirius is). The market making role is essential to provide liquidity in a less liquid quote driven market such as SEAQ, so I can appreciate where any confusion may have originated.

John, I’m just heading out and short on time, however, certainly something to discuss at some point.

ImaTyke, there is a fundamental difference in mindset between CB holders and equity holders (otherwise the co. would have got away with straight equity @20p at ST1). On the whole, connvertible holders simply are not interested in the Sirius story as an investment. Let mucking about waiting for TorP news and such like. Different instruments for different sized pockets I’m afraid, and quite frankly, investing in a ‘uncertai’ mine development simply doesn’t fit with their profile.

Why not? With the Damoclean Sword of potential dilution hanging over the share price until Q1/19, and a possible clean up by the co. of any outstanding convertibles in Dec, if you still held CBs bought ~24p would you run to possible risk of par? I certainly wouldn’t. Besides, that 1.9m @ 30.74 certainly has the whiff of eau du bond to me.

I’d like to exonerate myself firstly by stating I am certainly not a hairy arsed engineer (nor recently epilated for that matter!), however, (and perhaps some of those of an engineering bent might be able to dismiss or confirm),whilst I can appreciate that in a closed environment such as a tunnel, floor space will be at a premium (with all the inherent constraints that entails), is it entirely beyond the realm of possibility that there might be some sort of banding system in place that in effect binds the tunnel infrastructure when it is running at at weight? Or is that entirely addressed by overhead pressure? Space limits aside, it does seem peculiar that a roof mounted system would be desirable, so I was wondering just what other considerations might have a bearing? If anyone can elucidate a coherent reason it’d be much appreciated. Certainly by me.
