I remember buying shares in an oil company at about £1.10 which then went down to about 20p. I sold them at 20p and they subsequently got taken over a year later at £1.50.

It doesn't mention another US Hedge Fund which bought a stake in Revolution Beauty at the same time as Boohoo did.

I think Boohoo may be seen as more immune to inflation and recession than the likes of ASOS because people will resort to buying cheaper clothes.

Just as people buy cheaper food because of inflation and recession so people buy cheaper clothes.

ASOS like Sainsburys are seen to suffer more than the likes of Boohoo and Aldi.

People still buy clothes and food in times of inflation and recession however they buy cheaper clothes and cheaper food.

Joules another profit warning today, as trading has continued to deteriorate over the last few weeks.

Paul Scott from Stockopedia's Small Cap Value Report estimates this could lead to an H1 loss of about £7m for Joules.

Bank remains supportive, and discussions with Next continue about a strategic investment.

Next looking to invest in Joules, maybe to buy it out.

Joules went down about 40% today so this too will affect Boohoo.

For me, Kamani is a shrewd businessman. I think there's something brewing here. Kamani knows it and has got in early to buy REVB for Boohoo.

I may be wrong.

As I've said already on here, I think I've read somewhere about someone else like Mike Ashley doing this before with a company in order to buy it.

My thinking is that Boohoo are setting themselves up to buy Revolution Beauty either from administration or at an extremely cheap share price.

For me, the investment of about £5m recently in REVB shares is the catalyst for this.

I think I may have seen this happen somewhere else. I can't remember where. Did Mike Ashley do something like this in the past? From somewhere in the back of my head it rings a bell. I could well and truly be wrong.

Hence why I wonder if Revolution Beauty will go into administration and Boohoo will buy it out of administration.

Or if the Revolution Beauty share price will tank so much that Boohoo will get to buy it cheap.

I'm no expert. I may be totally and completely wrong. I have been in the past.

The auditors have subsequently raised certain accounting issues with management regarding the audit and these could have a material impact on the results for FY22 that have previously been communicated by the Group.

In the event that material adjustments are required, the Group profitability for FY22 could be materially reduced across a number of potential adjustments including stock and bad debt provisioning and revenue recognition.

Once these issues have been fully resolved and agreed between the auditors and management a further announcement will be made.

Level5 - I can't see a takeover of REVB from Boo. I could be wrong.

If REVB go into administration after the accounts release report, then I could see Boo buying them out of administration. Maybe Boo needed a large stake in REVB to buy them out of administration. I don't know how it works.
