Every time you read EBITDA substitute it with bulls*** earnings.

Level5 - September 2021 interim results showed revenue was no longer increasing as fast as it had been and profit was declining too.

Investors saw this as the start of the decline in growth for Boohoo, hence why the Boohoo share price started going down from then.

My point was and is the AIM All Share Index including Boohoo have been in a bear market for two years and doesn't look like it has reached its bottom as yet.

T4Ghad stated AIM had 6,000 companies in it. AIM have 727 companies. Then t4g stated about the AIM 100. My reply was if you thought it was the AIM 100 then that's only 100 companies. Where do you get 6,000 companies from AIM 100 which has only 100 companies?

WolfofWarks - the point is Shein has taken revenue and profit from Boohoo.

Diversification for Boohoo doesn't mean it'll be automatically profitable.

Boohoo's diversification has loads of competitors like Next, Zalando, Zara, i.e. Inditex, M & S, H & M, etc., etc.

T4g - It's looks like close to the top for all of them down to close to the bottom for all of them. It looks like a bear market for all of them.

This bear market looks like it has lasted for about two years for AIM.

Correlation means a relationship or a connection. I'm using the easiest meaning for me.

There's a mathematics formula for correlation. I haven't gone into it in this detail. If you wish to do so, then please go ahead.

I've looked at all 3 charts over a two year period, the bear market period, and they look pretty similar to me.

You need to look at these over a two year period, Boohoo share price, AIM All index and even the AIM 100 index.

How could you even think 6000 could possibly be right?

T4g - as of April 2023 there were 1,926 companies on the London Stock Exchange.

I've no idea where you got the figure of 6,000 companies on AIM.

T4g - look at the Boohoo chart for the past two years and then look at the AIM Chart for the past two years to see the connection between them.

T4g - yes, there is a correlation between the Boohoo Share Price and the AIM index over the past two years.

US Stock Market is only open for a half day today and closed all day tomorrow for 4 July holiday.

From what I've read in Stockopedia, some are saying AIM won't reach the bottom for a few more months.

I think if Shein had to pay import tariffs to US, then they might have to increase their prices. This might help Boohoo, however we'd have to wait and see.

I think some investors have lost faith in Boohoo and that may take some time to return.

From what I've read in Stockopedia, consensus estimates are for a loss of £17.4m for year end 28 February 2024 and a small profit of £5.3m for year end 28 February 2025.

Broke - from the down direction of the Boohoo share price, I would guess many investors don't believe Boohoo will be a growth share again.

More proof of yearly rising net profit and yearly rising eps is needed from Boohoo for investors to be convinced Boohoo could be a growth share again.
