Book Value is a figure used by accountants for what the business may be worth after all the creditors are paid. However Book Value must never be relied upon.

It's the supply and demand of shares that determine the share price and therefore the Market Capitalisation.

A low Vix means investors in the US Market have become overconfident so it's not a good sign.

Inflation can turn around quite easily and start going back up.

As I said it's your choice.

Some would say ignore these signs at your peril.

Bank of America said the three-month Vix versus the spot Vix has reached what’s considered to be “overbought”, a “tactically bearish signal for US equities”.

The Vix and Fear Greed Index are good signs for investors to look at for the US Market.

As they say if the US market catches a cold the UK Market gets flu.

The Vix is at its lowest which suggests US Investors are overconfident and extreme greed is evident for the US investors.

This could mean a downturn for the Us Market.

When investors get overconfident and extremely greedy it can mean the US market has hit th etop.

So, be careful.

Unfortunately t4g is so adamant in his extremely limited views and he won't budge because he thinks he's so right.

He'll never change.

T4g - you make things too complex when they are simple if you look for the signs.

Shares work on a supply and demand basis.

Boohoo hasn't made a profit for two years so why would anyone want to buy it. The only people buying it are hoping it will become profitable again. That's going to take nearly two years despite what you think.

The UK's inflation is sticky and interest rates may have to go up further. This isn't baked into Boohoo's share price and could affect it in the future by sending it lower.

T4g - you fool yourself and others on here too and on other boards like Harvest Minerals. You can't see the wood for the trees.

You need to learn to stop having such extremely limited views about shares because you are misleading yourself and others on share chat boards.

It's okay to fool yourself. It's not okay to fool others.

T4g - when you get a 40% fall in one day and there have been big falls before this 40% fall then you must realsie that there is something wrong going on with the business.

You need to learn to look for signs that things are going wrong in a business. One of these signs is the share price dropping and dropping and dropping. It's not the market makes manipulating the share price, it's a sign there's something seriously wrong with the business.

Investors look for these signs and get out of shares when they see such signs. You don't. You come up with your extremely limited view that it's market makers manipulating the share price. By putting this on boards you mislead people into thinking the business is okay when it's obvious the business is not okay.

T4g - please read all posts properly because it seems to me you make assumptions about posts without reading them in full and understanding them completely.

No it's not t4g, it's obvious things were going wrong at HMI and you were blaming the Market makers for manipulating the share price.

This is exactly what you do on this board for Boohoo.

You will not accept that the Boohoo share price has gone down because Boohoo haven't made a profit and won't make a profit until end of year 28 February 2025. From consensus estimates this profit will be a small profit.

Plus you think everything is already baked into a share price. It doesn't work like that. It works on supply and demand for shares. Interest rates look like they may well rise to 6% and maybe even more. Inflation is sticky.

These factors continue to affect the Boohoo share price and will continue to affect it.

Nothing is ever totally baked into a share price.

You mislead people on here with your extremely limited views on the Boohoo share price and by the looks of it did exactly the same on the Harvest Minerals Share Price.

You are unable to see how your extremely limited views make people on here hold on to shares which continue to fall in price.

This is misleading people on here and on Harvest Minerals board too.

T4g - You don't understand net fixed assets and book value. My posts were all about net fixed assets and not net assets so you need to go and learn about net fixed assets and book value. I prefer to use these financial terms because they explain things so much easier.

You need to go and learn what they mean.

T4g - the only one who is financially ignorant is you. Try looking up net assets and Book value. They are different. The thing is with you, you think you're an expert when you're not.

Scb - regarding t4g, he's also been using the Market Makers manipulation excuse on the Harvest Minerals Board for the drop in HMI's share price.

Yes you do t4g and then deny it.

You do because you post only positive stuff which encourages people to hold shares. You don't allow negative stuff to be posted by reporting posts, belittling posters, insulting posters. You are responsible for encouraging people to hold onto their shares by posting a one sided view of shares.
