Look at the actual share prices for the UK Retails sector and not simply the overall percentage change for the day.

This will give you a much wider picture of what's going on:-

Yes 1.3%, that's not flying, that's mediocre.

Plus retail is not flying today.

There are as many retail shares down as there are up.

REVB went up as far as 31p, finished at 24.5p.

Boohoo are down.

POwell in US has been hawkish today.

Bailey is talking about persistent inflation.

Thames Water has debts of £15bn and will need to be bailed out.

Doom and gloom makes investors jittery.

Citadel upped their short on Boohoo on Monday albeit by .03%.

Sentiment is not good at present.

It looks like this isn't going to be good for the Boohoo share price.

Plus there's lots of talk about REVB giving loads of shares to Bob Holt and Elizabeth Lake.

Maybe not good for REVB Share Price too.

Personally, I can't see Boohoo bidding for REVB.

Gross Profit only gives you how good a business is at managing, for example, its production, labour costs, raw materials, and any spoilage due to manufacturing.

Whereas Net Profit is much more useful because it determines whether a business is making a profit or not after administrative costs, rent, taxes, etc., etc.

Gross Profit is limited in what it can provide and not useful for giving you the the overall picture.

Whereas, Net Profit gives you the overall picture and a much better picture of what's really going on in the business.

So why would you want to compare gross profit for Warpaint and REVB when they don't give a useful overall picture of their business.

WolfofWarks - is this just another one of your ruses to try to make yourself look more intelligent than you really are.

t4g uses these type of ruses too, when quoting such things like EBITDA.

Even Warren Buffett says EBITDA is a load of nonsense.

Brilliant moves by Boohoo on REVB. They knew exactly what they were doing. I think Boohoo didn't expect to get their Directors through today. Hence why they made sure to curtail Bob Holt's powers as CEO. He can't allot shares, he can't buyback shares, etc., etc.

Personally I don't see REVB being relisted until after the EGM. I could be wrong.

It looks to me like Boohoo have played a blinder today.
