oke - the us dc will open in q3 which is september to november 2023. it will open with plt first, then each of the following in 2024, boohoo, nasty gal, boohooman and then karen millen. it's all going to take time and plenty of time.
£400m is revenue and not net profit. we don't know how much of that revenue is from plt. let's say the us revenue for plt was £200m. personally, i can't see boohoo making a net profit on this £200m revenue.
and, i'm not interested in ebitda because it's nonsense and bull**** earnings.
yes, the usdc has capacity for £2bn, however, that's going to take at least two years and maybe even longer to get from £400m to £2bn to get to that capacity. £2bn is five times the revenue boohoo get from the us at present. it's not going to happen overnight.
guatemala/mexico for manufacturing, that's going to take some time to get set up and running. it's not going to happen immediately. it may be up to two years for this to be set up. they will still have to pay tariffs into us from guatemala/mexico and haulage costs too.
i love your wishful thinking.
you must remember a company is selling itself on conference calls and in rns. they're salesmen for their company and so they'll make it sound great.
it's the reality that counts and not the dream the company tries to sell to investors.
boohoo have let their investors down badly and so as a company there's a lack of trust in them.
