That's the worst thing. We were originally suspended for something else. But we aren't in continued suspension because of that leak. The leak may have highlighted something wrong EUA had done which has made it hard to find another Nomad sure. Or leak has completely been resolved, it's just EUA struggling to find a Nomad. I wasn't worried at all when we were suspended for that leak. Wasn't EUA's fault, surely we'd be back out of suspension in no time. It's only what's happened since then, Nomad dismissal/resignation, failure to get Nomad and failure to get one in initial 30 April target.
This isn't true. Positive posters have posted theories on why EUA have been unsuspended, all part of a plan, it's because a sale etc., things with no proof. That is gut feeling/hope. The negative things unfortunately are fact. EUA has missed it's original deadline of 30th April already to appoint a Nomad where it expected to. It has been suspended for months. It is days close to delisting. Extremely little information updated. Lack of communication with shareholders/struggle to contact. Struggling to get Nomad and strange Nomad dismissal. These are all facts. There is close to nothing positive since the suspension. If you are positive all you can do is post about stuff before the suspension. Which some do. But there is far more positive posters going with their gut and creating theories, than negative posters creating stuff out of thin air.
Yeah been reading similar stories. It's madness what goes on in AIM. Probably done with AIM entirely after this. Only started doing thing in AIM because FTSE stocks were doing badly (while now much more positive growth associated with them with the crash). Or is best to just trade consistently rather than long term hold. I've made money or AIM but was only thinking what goes down and up in AIM and whether news is good or not. I never worried that my money could be snatched away without a moment's notice like this. Haven't even been given a proper reason why the suspension has been this long yet either, been kept completely in the dark. There's got to be a reason why it's been suspended for a ridiculous time and EUA haven't announced an appointment of a new NOMAD, positive or negative.
This was the reason why I didn't think EUA would be delisted. I thought it happened more to companies on the verge of bankruptcy. But here we are a few days from delisting. I also underestimated the real threat of companies delisting failing to find a Nomad. As shareholders, I feel we are incredibly unlucky to be in this position with EUA compared to the companies who were near bankruptcy, with hardly ever trade volume. But here we are. Looks like it can happen to any company on AIM unfortunately.
You are right. The warrants exercise by staff does feel like a positive. The recommencing of communicating with shareholders via email recently is another positive as a company that is communicating is usually more confident of sticking around than one resigned to go off the grid. I think those are the only actual positives I can think of during the suspension. A lot of the other stuff is irrelevant, it doesn't matter right now how much Palladium they have or trucks if they delist, those will only matter if EUA unsuspend. Still a few positives give me hope, I must admit I'm a little more hopeful again after they reopened communication lines.
I think these percentages are fair. I don't think people saying "listed for 24 years and never delisted", they've never faced a problem like this (or on this magnitude) before. It is disappointing that a company that has been listed for 24 years, faces this problem when finally the company starts getting traction, and I wouldn't have predicted a company to suddenly have these problems if they've been listed fine for 24 years. But looks like we have this problem anyway. One positive is the replying of emails, looks like they are finally doing that, shows like they're opening communications again, and has made me a little more hopeful of a good ending.
I have never got a reply to any email I've sent. Not even an acknowledgement saying they can't say much right now. I've sent two now over the suspension period. They were politely worded and brief. I have seen people saying they've got replies, but with so many strange posts on here, I'm not sure if I can actually trust them. Only way is to email yourself, but which I have. But there is the possibility they replied to others and not to me. Which would feel extremely weird, it doesn't take long to respond to an email even if there were hundreds (which I doubt, most won't even bother). Wouldn't mind other people emailing and posting whether they get a response or not so we get a more accurate idea. It's hard to just believe the word of one person.
Hey xcoder.
Yeah I hope this goes well too, I still have hope. I feel the same way, and I bet most feel like us too. Either way the positive is we'll all learn from this regardless, I've never been in a situation like this before. I know far more about suspension, the no nomad situation, possible delisting etc., and is new knowledge that can be applied when investing in the future.
When EUA was first suspended, most including me didn't think much of it. A simple twitter leak, thought it would be resolved. Was even a bit excited thinking maybe a sale was going through. Then before end of April, people saying no sense to announce before current one expired. Which made sense to me. Then early May. And now finally before 29th May. People are even predicting 1st June, after the deadline now.
I've always had a jumpy feeling RNS to unsuspend was right around the corner since we first suspended. I don't feel that way anymore. It feels like an unwanted delay, struggles to appoint a Nomad. It wasn't all according to plan. I don't understand why they'd take shareholders this close on purpose. Even look at twitter replies to eurasia mining's recent posts, people are scared now, asking about RNS and Nomad situation. The current suspension and NOMAD situation dwarfs any other issue right now.
Focus is on derampers. When there's hardly any. When the share was on the market the guys saying to would drop to 0.01p overnight then were a joke, no one got scared by them. It's the suspension that caught us by surprise. Hardly any reason even to deramp now, the majority of neutrals (non-invested) will not see this as a positive situation. I can't imagine the majority of actual shareholders are happy and not scared about the situation. I think we're kidding ourselves to think otherwise. Yet It seems like the majority on this board seems confident about this, despite "shifting goalposts". It's good to be positive, but feels like a lot of people are really just trying to forget about the situation completely and instead focus on derampers and hype up the fundamentals of the company (which are good, but have little relevancy in terms of the Nomad situation). Hope more actual shareholders speak up about their thoughts on the situation, and their worries about it. Better to be realistic. We still have a chance, though with the increasing coming deadline, feel it's significantly under 50% now, hardly anyone thought it would take this long when we were first suspended. But some are acting like it's a 100% thing, not to worry etc. which is crazy.
Thanks for clearing things up. I miswrote my post, I meant to add a question mark not a full stop, was genuinely asking whether this suggests a sale or otherwise. I assumed that the machinery was merely adding to the collection and being shown off so could be used on MT when they eventually were allowed to start mining it. Though I think you and the others are right, it's talking about equipment being added to the WK site specifically.
If they have bought/leasing new equipment would that suggest a sale isn't taking place and they'll mine it themselves. Positive thing though, it's somewhat of an update and suggests the company aren't in financial trouble surely?
I sent an email this afternoon and got no response. And got no response to the email before that. Not doubting you, just think it's a bit weird of them to respond to some emails and not others. All I asked was has there been any update, it was a very short email, they could have easily replied with the same thing you got. I would appreciated even a sorry we can't say anything more at this time etc., at least it shows they are still communicating with shareholders.
One RNS at the start of April, one at the end. Nothing in March, or Feb (since the suspension started). The last RNS might not even count, it was just a notifcation of the current period of WH Ireland expiring as NOMAD and EUA will delist by 29th May without a NOMAD. Didn't tell us anything new at all.
Really we have had one Update for the entire 3 months. In terms of email communication, they have not bothered to reply to many including myself. We can not pretend communication has been stellar.
When we didn't immediately get a NOMAD appointment by the end of April, it was confirmation we've been kept in the dark. Whether good or bad. Either EUA are struggling to find a NOMAD which means something wrong has happened that has made it difficult to get one. Or a small chance that some sale is going on and NOMAD appointment is not priority.
Either way we've been kept in the dark (or worse just lied to). There doesn't seem to be a scenario where people can argue EUA is being fully transparent with us anymore. For good or for worse.
The best thing unfortunately to what I've read is in these situations is to contact the nominated advisor lol. But of course since we don't have one, no contact. What did AIM regulation respond out of curiosity? Unfortunately they wouldn't know much about EUA specifically as it's them who know what's going on as it's their company. And if they knew the reason for suspension was some sort of irregularity which they suspended EUA for, I assume they would keep it quiet and allow EUA to resolve the issue themselves. Would just create panic and make it more difficult for companies to fix their problems if they just released that info to the public readily.
