They probably used "latter half" as they expect significant delay. It's the same pattern as before, constantly being pushed back. It has gone from this week or next week (which expired last week), to end of the month, to latter half.
Same with what happened before, expected to resolve shortly, then end of April, then end of May, a few days before delisting.
It seems like this company struggles with doing things on time. They previously stated that their operations were unaffected by covid. Are they now affected by covid, or using the covid extension because it's there as they otherwise would be late?
I do wonder why their time estimation is so poor, yet seemingly accordance to their RNSs there's not really many issues/problems stated other than over the clarification or citic's involvement.
People have been going on about what price EUA should be/sold for 5 months now. Fact of the matter as long as our shares are in suspension, essentially we have nothing, they're worthless. They're not making you money, you can't withdraw money from them as you please.
What would console me more is news which marks progress to unsuspension. Which there has been a severe lack of. The only thing we have got is a new Nomad, which was just a fix to an issue of possible delisting which no one thought we'd have to worry about when the share went into suspension in the first place. I'd prefer reassurances o that we will finally unsuspend. Predicted price/valuations by posters mean very little to me at this point. It seems a little weird to dream of big riches for months on end when we still don't even have guarantee we'll get any of the original value we invested in the first place.
One last day left in the original time frame. I understand they are now saying that it will be by the end of the month and they have filed an extension? Not pleased by that, it's delaying yet again. And I'm not even expecting unsuspension by the next RNS it's just annual report. Who knows we'll get to the end of the month, and they'll say they'll do it in the next 6 months. Everything seems to take ages, constant delays on top of delays. And we're never given any reason to why they delay in the first place.
Is 3 days left till they're late to when they said they would update via email. If they don't do it in these days left, it means they're officially late again. That's all. Given their recent history of being late, would be nice to be on time again.
I know they said they would likely update this week (or the previous week). But given their speed in the past, my gut tells me they aren't going to update and going to use the full extension for covid.
3 days left to go.
The posts on this board are too overwhelming positive for a share that has been suspended for four months with little communication. I doubt it represents accurately how the entire collection of shareholders feel overall.. Negative posts are very few, and yet still some cry about them and accuse them of shorting. I think I've seen more negative posts for example in Novacyt lol, despite that share exploding to 50 times fold to triple digits. You would never guess EUA is the suspended share at 7p from the positivity shown here. The ratio of positive to negative is completely off. IT's good to be optimistic, but getting a balanced viewpoint is best, it's no good just pretending issues/worries don't exist. You can still be optimistic/positive despite not flat out ignoring the obvious negatives. I actually think I saw more negative posts before suspension than after funnily enough which shouldn't make sense. You need both negative and positive posts to better assess the situation yourself.
We will know in this week or the next to remain positive and then assess again, but right now I think the situation is overall positive, there's low concern of shareholders. They ran things extremely close before, I think people who say they weren't even a little scared of delisting before the nomad appointed aren't entirely truthful. But the worst is behind us for now, things are looking better. As I said we'll know where we stand this week or the next.
I've never actually stated word for word what's in the emails, as it says you shouldn't at the bottom. I too sent an email though, and am pretty happy with the response. We'll get news soon most likely, set my mind at ease.
I feel exactly the same GeordieShores. I too am not scared if the share comes back to market and drops. It can always recover and not all is lost. The scenario which scares me is if it never returns to being traded. The appointment of the Nomad has made me feel more hopeful of the whole situation, at least the biggest hurdle which was the appointment of the Nomad is done, gives more breathing space.
Never said i would rather have lost it all and delisted instead, obviously not. It's just that would be a siverlining in a bad situation, at least it's over. If it goes on for another 4 months and still ends in nothing, I'll be more upset than if it just ended a few weeks ago.
I did sell a bit (but not the majority of my shares), I think at 4 or so I can't remember the actual figure. To protect myself in case their was a sudden price drop. I should have sold more in hindsight, I guess I got too greedy as I was confident in a price rise. Was thinking I was dumb before as the price continued to go up and I just lost money. Now I wish I'd sold more when I did, I sold the absolute minimum to protect myself against a disaster crash like 70% down, but not 100% down. Lesson learnt. I wonder if those who are more positive are guys who fully sold their entire original holding and only have their profits. Because maybe it's less worrying. But of course most on here claim they are long time holders and would never sell until a deal comes around.
Agree with this. No reason to complain. I was worried about them appointing the Nomad and felt like the chances were dropping the closer we came to end of May and the fact they didn't appoint before the end of April when they thought they would. My did they take it close, but since they've appointed one am very happy.
Suspension isn't something to be worried about right now, we've avoided the big threat which was delisting. I think it's something we can be suspended until December or something ridiculous. Just relax and be happy that we've finally got a Nomad. Myself, and others cared about appointing a Nomad over anything else. Seem silly to complain now that EUA have actually delivered that.
The wording of the phone calls is very positive. Words like tying up some stuff, updates over the weekend etc. bode good. It is far more reassuring then the words they use in the latest email that inspire no hope or the RNSs. Thinking maybe something has happened that has renewed confidence in terms of getting the next Nomad which is very encouraging. Chances of getting a new Nomad and not delisting have just gone up, feel more positive after that.
The only fact which is worth really thinking about is there being no Nomad despite EUA saying they expected to appoint one before the notice period of WH Ireland expiring on 30th April. They have failed to do this.
Hence it is logical that people should be more negative. It's coming to nearly a month overdue and not long left to delisting. The actual reason really doesn't matter, though it is more likely to be a negative thing if it's concerning an objective a company set out to do but failed to do.
You can't even sadly believe the previous facts anymore the EUA put out, as we do not know the reason why they are struggling to find a NOMAD, and it may be down to some of those facts being exaggerated/poorly worded. None of their previous facts are even mentioned in the RNS since the suspension, so again we can no longer believe that as fact.
Still though some communication better that nothing, and by opening communications when there's so little time left makes me feel that's there's at least hope. If it were a done case, and they knew they were delisting, they'd probably not even reply.
