Sounds like the plan has change a lot - from 4 producers to one? The second well to maintain production. That won't be producing 30mmscf/d. Godley Bridge-1 managed less than 1.5mmscf/dof sour gas.

Very interesting about converting the system to carry hydrogen - except of course UKOG want to put natural gas into it. All the guff about Loxley and hydrogen was about selling it for reformation, not having a reformation plant at Loxley.

But of course they need to find gas first, drill several wells to find out how much is there if the first is successful, and then build a Saltfleetby type production site.

and they haven't even built a well site though they've had permission since June last year.

This has echoes of UKOG installing a production completion in Broadford Bridge for testing it and then having to pull it all out because it wasn't the slam dunk they thought it was. That well was a failure.

HH-2z was promised as a 720 to 1080bopd producer. They stopped drilling because they hit fractures that appeared to be water filled - but didn't mention a water issue until they issued initial test results a month later - just they had stopped because they had enough hole in the good reservoir. They assured pi it would be a routine intervention - it wasn't, there were more fractures elsewhere and the well has been suspended for about 30 months.

Then in Turkey they built a gold plated site for the Basur-3 well and didn't use a slim hole finder well as is common practice in Turkey. It missed the structure which was much smaller than they had mapped it, couldn't reach a new target with a side track and now aren't even drilling what was the 'transformational' Basur - Resan structure.

But surely they will (should) have asked SGN this ages ago?

Still it gives the clowns something to ramp, if there's a P&D make sure you're not caught.

It's more likely it's risky and UKOG probably hope something distracts from the lack of progress.

As for Turkey what leads you to think that the Pinarova well will definitely be successful ('One or two cheap Turkey drills and by the time they are flowing and making money'). Never knowingly uncertain peviously even UKOG RNS 'if' successful.

If Pinarova-1 fails they won't drill another Pinarova well and will be left with the equally poor ('Pinarova to offer similar potential success case outcomes to a Basur-4 appraisal well') but much more expensive Basur-4 well to drill.

Too often posters have predicted cashflows from a planned well, claiming that any future drills woud be funded internally - only for the well to be a failure.

As for the Portand project I've already said that I expect UKEn to be sold to a company capable of doing it, though the economics of gas storage can be tricky with huge upfront costs and no cashflow for years - but not a JV, a tiny company as a partner would be a drag on progress - though I wouldn't be surprised if SS was keen to sell and go with it as a continuity director.

The damage has been all self inflicted, UKOG over promising and underdelivering - pointing out how poor the projects were was being realistic, you may not like it that those that you disagree with have been right, and your ramping for years has been in vain because of the failure after failure of wells.

You may make up little stories about the delays - but they have full permission to convert HH-2z since May last year or drill any wells they want - the risk of being stopped is minute compared to the risk of drilling another duff well at HH, and according to you on twitter the conversion of HH-2z would be cheap and improve production significantly, or at least save water disposal costs - why haven't they done it. surely the cost would be recovered rapidly?

As for last chance saloon - that's more likely to be where UKOG is.

As for HH - really, Kimmeridge well in June - which would need a raise, Loxley well to drill - being farmed out since July last year - if no farm out another raise or relinquishment. BB site being retained for years to avoid restoration costs, but never mind all these - here's a gas storage project we're promoting we can't affford either.

Any mention of BB or the Kimmeridge 'learnings' at HH or Loxley in the recent RNS about a 6 month extension to end June 2024 - I thought not.

You do not understand the difference between the activists who say UKOG should not produce oil and my posting which says they won't because the reservoirs, prospects, leads are not capable of being as good as they claim, and explain why - of course they no longer make any specific claims - even Pinarova-1 is 'if successful'.

But UKOG have a June 2019 RPS report that has 2C resources - not reserves, not billions of barrels, not hundreds of millions. not even 10 of millions, but Net 2C resources of 1.4 million barrels they quote but haven't published.

Perhaps DL should request SS publishes it.

Plenty of sells but what you also forgot to mention is that you won't be holding for the results of the well, just the 'doubling' of the SP on 'news' (P&D) - Let's hope DL doesn't sell hundreds of millions and stop it doubling.
