I was trying getting my head around this supply loss but so far I think its limited losses (except US).
I gather some information, where we are now
Consumption 95-96m
Stock reduction 2m ( last months)
Then the production must been 93-94m
And OPEC+ supply cuts 7m then capacity still around 100m

Or am I missing something?

Plethorus, think I estimated they need just a bit more than 60 usd to get to 385m but then your also paying of 45m on the OZ deal and doing nothing else in next 9 months. They might already get close to 60usd as Kraken have premium.
And they have quite som unrestricted cash also.

So it should not be a problem if everything continue as is

55 usd oil is still very cheap.
US crude oil stock will dive straight into 5 year average zone and next months.
US production might start fall even more as Art Berman predicted.
World maybe lost 5m production.

Trend is up now for oil and will continue I expect.
We might get to 80-100 usd in summer.
Saudi and Russia will make sure of it.

Basically Enq could get it almost for free as it probably don’t make any money now.
At Magnus enquest lower cost from 50-60 to 12-15 usd over couple of years.
What cost BP have at these worst fields they want to sell first?
Wonder if Enq interested in it.

As article says BP will sell further for 25b.
Next year Enq can buy a nice field.
Put some hundred mill cash backed by Enq FCF of 400-500m + new field FCF.
That could be a nicer 30-50k field.
