Actually the interest rate on the Atlas deal isn't that bad (in relative terms for AIM) - its the fact that it's basically a giant CLN is an issue - at the current SP probably somewhere around another 4-5 billion shares if fully converted which the theoretical refinance deal is meant to deal with)

Rob, not necessarily so, Axis as broker still have to sell/transfer placing shares to new holders, whether they are clients of Axis or not, so they should still show as trades when/if dispersed

How many shares can a broker (Axis) hood before they would have to issue a TR1??

Shareholder list updated on 4th Jan to reflect new total shares in issue but nothing from Axis (and volume hasn't been large enough since the 23rd for all 2.9 billion new shares to find a home

Antharry, sadly too many people think (or want to make out) that doing due diligence on a company (or a poster for that matter !!l should be only about the positives- I would say that everything has at least 5wo sides and ignoring one is dangerous.
From reading your posts over the last couple of years, its clear that you've become progressively more disenchanted with VAST but have held on because you thought the quality of the assets would shine through.
Imo, that's entirely logical and understandable- the ultimate challenge we all have in any investing is getting the timing right - and anyone who claims that they're right all the time is either suffering from self delusion or has attended a creative writing seminar.....

Production numbers are only one side of the coin, costs are another

One of the issues is that AP 'pandered' to the retail shareholder base, releasing RNS about every container etc when he was trying to ramp the SP, now he wants to behave like a more traditional PLC - the inconsistency either implies poor management or contempt of PI sentiment

Caselogic, the SP may have been 'higher on air' but the mcap is roughly the same because of the dilution
And at the moment, that production is unquantifiable based on VASTs unwillingness to release actual numbers.

The only guide we've got are the numbers in Craig's tables but there has been nothing concrete(ie in an RNS) that states reality matches forecast - if they prove to be accurate then in time the SP will respond

The registered address at Nettleshead Manor is Roy Tuckers private home and wedding venue - so apart from the fees charged to Vast for its use as the registered address the direct cost is relatively small (though I'm sure that business will have been under extreme pressure this year) - and I would have thought that now his holding in APMG has now been converted into PLC shares, he can use them as collateral if needed

So why on the major shareholding list, does it not just say AP, rather than 'Vast Resources PLC Directors & related holdings' cos it's the same 8.75% figure? Just leads to possible confusion, as the directors combined holding is 10.72%

It's also odd (downright misleading) to lump all the VAST directors holdings together in one lump - I cannot think of any other listed company that does that

Private investors wont need to take 'shares at your expense' - theres still the vast majority of 2.9 billion placing shares admitted on the 23rd waiting to find a gullible/ramped home

I see that they updated the shareholder register on 18th Dec - will we get an end of year TVR (which a lot of companies have issued today) which should also suggest a further update to the register to include the 2.9 billion shares admitted to trading on the 23rd?
And any associated TR-1s?
