Rob, I havent checked VASTs Articles but as AP is CEO rather than a Managing Director, then I dont think he needs re-electing every three years - if I'm wrong, he is overdue as as appointed 1st March 2018

The only times I have seen split dates for admission of shares is when the company has needed to call a GM to ask for a vote to give the BoD permission to issue more shares than they had headroom for.

That doesnt apply in thus case or the other placings brokered by Axis - that's why it raises a red flag for me
The only logical reason I can think of, is it gives the recipients of the first tranche time to sell to recoup the cash to pay for the second tranche.
In this case the VAST PR machine was very quiet until the placing, then they start tweeting again, AP podcast and TMS write up all seem designed to help move that first load on?

Why no statement of how much the premium is that Atlas have accepted as part of the renegotiation? Don't shareholders deserve to know? It matters as whether the can has just been kicked or whether it has been squashed
If a delay to the Aramine drill doesnt have any negative effect on the new plan then why was it scheduled to arrive before it was needed? Keep the cash in the companies pocket rather than somebody else?

Sandy I agree re Atlas and said so when the RNS came out, just think it would be better if AP kept his trap shut rather than spraying catch phrases like a Roy Hattersley spitting image puppet spraying actual diarrhoea

Listening to the interview reminds me of APs style to throw as many phrases out there , hoping that some of them stick - sort of reminds me of an estate agent - oh wait a minute....

Does he expect these hinted at new institutional investors to buy shares on the open market? Doesn't normally work like that does it? So where would those shares come from?
