They probably do need a takeover, however, for an external valuation, Baita only has an indicated and inferred JORC suggesting a 3-4 year mine life - why would someone want to buy that?

Re outstanding Atlas - that is the par value- we dont know whether recent interest payments have been made or if they have been rolled up onto the principal

Iceman, you do realise that those extra 250 employees need paying so add a considerable cost to the company, so until they reach those newly forecasted 'profitable levels' they are burning cash, which is already in short supply

Latino, even if you ignore VASTs continued failure to live upto its forecasts, the issue as panda and Starvest have highlighted stands true - they wont be able to walk on those sun dappled foothills of profit because they have large outstanding debt to pay before they can lace up their boots

I think its mainly AP floating an idea (hopefully an addition to rather than alternative to Baita !!) of what could be a development route, but the same old problem, where does the money come from?
If its from the 'profit' from Baita sometime in the future (at best, if believing their forecasts still hold true, late 2022 imo) then fine, but why bring it up now unless its a meant to be misdirection

To be honest, I think that actually could be a goer with the current copper price as could greatly reduce logistics costs shipping to Iacobeni , but would need around $2m minimum, probably more as do not know re power supply

However, highlights yet another discrepancy with historic plans and podcasts which suggetsed a plan to build a new processing plant on site based on the granting of the Carlibaba extension - sadly AP floats ideas but the follow through generally leaves a sinking feeling
