Please post a link where it says you can claim capital gains against income. WBA isn't the one suggesting his accountant gets a tax rebate.

You cannot offset a capital loss against income (unless some very specific circumstances).

I agree and I questioned his involvement some days ago. It's not unusual though to hold a non-exec position in more than one company.

I would have thought any discussions about what they would be willing to accept would have already been had considering they have been in discussions for a long time.
