What is rr's gross EBITDA as of today Rr101?

It's like an unstoppable force at the moment....

Just how consistant are Royces I thought to myself.... I'll have a look on IG and find out... So I went on IG and set it to weekly and looked at the % increases.... RR have have positive upward movement every week for the last 20 weeks. The highest gain was 15.32% (W/C 04th December 2023) and the lowest gain was 1.04% (W/C 29th Jan 2024. The average gain over these 20 week has been 6.17%. That is bonkers...

Having a bit of time on my hands I did the same exercise and looked at how many pence tthe share had gone up on a weekly basis over the past 20 weeks...The highest gain was again W/C 04th December with 37.69p and the lowest was also the same with W/C Jan 29th seeing a 3.13p rise. The average rise was 17.02p / week over this 20 week period.

Thanks Svend - I've seen you comment on Atalaya before... and you quite obviously know your onions.... Had a quick read - The E-Lix system sounds pretty cool - and my understanding is Atalaya own some equity in its inventor / owner due to lending them the cash to help develop their invention from good idea to workable kit. Also saw the video which says copper mining is massively under-resourced despite all indications that it will be very much in demand in the coming decade (as an extra 2 Billion people embrace electricity / cars etc etc).... Begs the question - what's not to like?? Thanks for the input Svend - Always good to have ones mind broadened :-)

I'm struggling to find their latest updated price RonR - what have they upgraded it to?

Without wanting to accused of "cross ramping"..... IAG seems to be on a steady march at the moment... Just an observation - nipped onto their board to see what the diehards are thinking and they seem reasonably positve - The tipranks / broker ratings data on IAG suggests a consensus price target of 209 (30% upside) - seems decent....

All I could find was this on Tipranks (Via IG website)..

Based on 11 Wall Street analysts offering 12 month price targets for Rolls-Royce Holdings in the last 3 months. The average price target is 418.36p with a high forecast of 506.54p and a low forecast of 240.00p. The average price target represents a 4.41% change from the last price of 400.69p.

So..... 418.36 X 11 = 4602

4602 - 240 = 4362

4362 / 10 = 436.2

Bernstein are also a bit mean with their forecast (245) however their rating falls outside the 3 month window indicated by the above paragraph... So I'm assuming wasn't one of the 11 forecasts used....

Agree Svend - I just can't for the life of me understand why the Govt is dragging this out. Of all the no-brainers SMR has to be one of the biggest... It just makes sense in so many ways 1) to have them and 2) to award the contract to a British company. Whilst I understand we have to tread carefully for fear of being taken to court over "nepotism" / protectionism surely the procurement process is robust enough to be able to choose RR for all / the majority of the contract without enabling court action from disaffected parties? Am I missing something???

I think what people may need to take into account with companies like Kodal is you got in there when it was fractions of pennies and have (to some extent) already earnt your money - whilst someone entering the fray now is purchasing at more of a premium price... Personally I've won some and lost some with AIM - probably down overall - never put much (% wise) into any transaction so it hasn't really affected my bottom line - I'm a bit of a control freak - and with AIM I just don't feel that control whilst with the bigger more established companies I feel a bit more protected.... As I said it's a personal thing.....Aim shares just don't do it for me :-)

Still got Fitch re-rating to BBB to come and next financial statement will show us how on track Tufan is to delivering on his promises.... I'm guessing there are some very easy wins to be had within the business as far as increasing effieciency / raising profitability are concerned. Making the most of these coupled with an aggressive pricing strategy should prove a formidable combination with regards to overall figures... Obviously there's SMR - however I have very little faith in the Govt - I wouldn't be surprised if a European deal usurps the UK deal.

I used to think Nettles' goal of £7 by Feb 2025 was bonkers (when I first heard his prediction / goal the share price was £1.30 and it seemed particularly far-fetched) - however as the months have passed and the SP has risen £7 actually seems conservative (especially if the Govt get their fingers out regarding SMR) - As for Nettles "pumping" AIM stocks - firstly I think it's healthy to have a bit of cross-over chat on this forum - whilst I realise it's a RR page dedicated to RR things it's also interesting tto hear people's views on otherr shares (so long as it's occasional and not constant...) - Giving people the heads up on other shares you're into is not forcing them at gunpoint to go and buy those shares themselves - It's simply offering an opinion on alternatives. If people are incapable of taking on an opinion and then doing their own research before actingg onn thatt information - more fool them.....

Because Google is Fookin useless :-) You'd think such a large organisation would be able to just occasisionally get the SP correct however most days their closing SP is a distant relative to reality.....

Just out of interest.... when an analyst publishes a revised target for a share is there any indication of timescales regarding when they expect their target to be reached??

I reckon Jane had more accurate predictions than retirment.....

Does this almost inevitably mean Fitch will follow suit in the coming days???

Thanks Rheinmetal (now there's a share I wish I'd jumped on a month ago....). It feels like I'm a bit late to the party with this one - I managed to get into Vistry a few weeks ago and they look like they have some really good potential (if you don't know too much about them watch this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W60Cmy3tbU&t=52s - It's an hour and a half long but gives a real in depth expose of what Vistry do). I may dip my toe in with BGEO - but am wary of catching this one a bit too late....

I've been in touch with Adam Patinkin (he gives his emal address at the end of the video and I thought it would be rude not to :-)) - He's a thoroughly nice chap who most definitely knows his onions.

It would be nice to see Tim Clark "begging" for Airbus / RR package after his somewhat rude comments at the Dubai airshow. I love a bit off karma me... :-)
