I know Alfa. I think you may have misunderstood or misread my post.
I did not link the recovery to the broker notes and most certainly did not suggest that the broker notes caused the recovery. What I did say was that JM forewarned that Q3 figures for production would not be great (and they weren't, but in fairness those familiar with BMN expected that) and that he thought people would continue to buy in on the basis of future production. And that appears to have happened.
I am more than happy if you wish to take part of the credit for the recovery through your purchase and I agree with you. You seized an opportunity and no doubt will be rewarded. In fact I expected such action from shareholders like yourself who have such good understanding of BMN:
"Perhaps by not raising expectations too high the slightly disappointing part of the RNS (production numbers) has been forgiven and investors continue to appreciate the bigger picture."
Alfa I sense tension between us which saddens me. We are on the same side and most definitely want the same things from our investment, albeit that your investment in BMN is considerably larger than mine. That doesn't mean to say that we have to agree on everything and I am fully aware that my stance on our brokers runs contrary to the opinions of some other posters. What I would say in response to that is that I have always posted what I believe to be true and I am not influenced by majority opinions. I speak my mind. I am sure there are numerous instances where my conclusions have been incorrect but at least they are honestly made.
I am very happy for others to take an alternative view as long as they have read my posts carefully, don't misrepresent what I wrote and debate the point without rudeness or personal attack. I don't think that is too much to ask.
I do admit that by filtering some of the opposing voices in the JM debate I appear to have contradicted myself. However I felt it was necessary as the bb was being taken over by those arguments. My actions have allowed everyone, including me, to express their opinions without the ensuing unpleasantness (or at least anything that I have read!)
I have immense respect for all that you do here Alfa. I would like to think that there is at least some respect coming back in my direction and that we can soften the tone of our interactions? May I add that nothing in this post is meant to cause offence. If it has then that was unintended and I apologise.
However I do not apologise for stating my opinions.
