Skier back in late 2016 there was another 'visitor' to this bb every bit as arrogant and full of themselves as you are. Effectively called BMN investors idiots. That was when the sp was below 1.5p .... And just before irises to 8p. That poster missed out on the 400% sp increase. I think it is fair to say that poster ended up looking rather stupid.

Reading your posts I can't help thinking that history is about to repeat itself.

I wonder what % rise you are about to miss out on?

Rob that is exactly what I mean by self fulfilling prophecy !

A low sp is predicted, so folks wait for it to happen before 'topping up' (!) thereby making it happen. And don't think the mms are stupid. They are not. They know this game far better than we do.

Last year between the 12 June and 24 July the sp rose from 10.18p to 29.70p in anticipation of production at Brockham, a rise of 192% in just 6 weeks.

According to the company we are less than 1 month from commencement of production testing of 200m of the Kimmeridge and the sp sits at 11.2p.

Everyone can draw their own conclusions about similarity of circumstances and what may happen to the sp as we get closer to that. Could be a very exciting month.

Anyone think this is a very cheap entry price?

First of all "hunch" = guess so best ignored.

The official position is stated in the RNS of 5 November 2018 as follows:

"Production at Brockham from the Kimmeridge layers planned to commence before end of this year."

And again in same RNS:

"The second objective is to initiate commercial production from the Kimmeridge layers at the Brockham Oil Field which is planned to commence before the end of the year. Angus Energy has the only existing production licence in the Weald Basin. The Company intends to re-enter the Brockham X4Z well to access approximately 200m of interbedded naturally fractured Kimmeridge shale and limestone layers which share a number of characteristics with Balcombe."

As I understand it the company has stated that the time frame has not been altered and therefore I expect production from the Kimmeridge before the end of the year, unless of course you can provide me with official information from the company that alters that position. Sorry ... not interested in your guesses.

The company has 4 weeks to deliver. Perhaps Alan can comment on whether that is plenty of time to meet the end of year target?

You do strike me as being a rather impatient young person with statements like "u seem to have forgotten its been dragging on since september and 3 months is a lifetime in AIMS"

In the oil industry three months is nothing. If that is beyond your experience then maybe you should avoid oil investments. Your decision of course. Frankly even if the production did start in January, so what. If commercial oil flows there won't be a single complaint from investors about any rise in the sp, although those that missed the boat will no doubt have something to say!

And on a point of accuracy Angus announced the completion of well test at Balcombe on 02 October 2018. That is just 2 months by my reckoning! Remember they said Balcombe first, then Brockham.

You have only been a member for 2 working days. I suggest you calm down and stop spreading negative vibes if you are a genuine investor. Sit back and let the company get on with it's job. We will all know soon enough whether this is a great investment or not. In my opinion the evidence looks very encouraging but until production begins none of us can be sure.

Just a response to your exit point comment. My current target does not represent my exit point. It is purely a target sp based upon known information re Vametco production, but allowing for the variables that make predicting sp for any AIM company a little tricky to say the least!

I have previously said that my target may change with expected news (dividends, improved Vametco production, BE developments etc).

I don't have a target exit point and will probably remain a BMN shareholder for several more years. However next year I celebrate my 65th birthday and I intend to review all of my investments at the end of 2019. It is likely that I will sell a proportion of my BMN shares, whatever the price, simply because at some point I need to enjoy the benefit of this investment. Whilst I am very fit for my age and in good health even a wise old man like me cannot hold back the hands of time ... Haha.

On other matters you make some valid points but we shall just have to agree to differ.

I am not a fan of TA and never invest on the basis of such theories. However it is always interesting to read what others think and good luck to those that follow these ideas. For me TA is based on graphs which present a historical record of sp. They allow future projections of possible scenarios but do not determine them.

My concern. I remember reading some time ago that mms don't believe in TA, BUT they are fully aware that many pi's do and will behave accordingly, presenting the opportunity for the mms to manipulate the market in order to take advantage of that.

I do hope that we are not helping to propel this share down to 37p. A self fulfilling prophecy. As a certain individual once said .... "Be careful what you wish for."

My own target remains at 75p to £1.50. I have not placed a time on that and it is based upon Vametco production only.

All of the above is simply my opinion. Happy for others to disagree but I will not be debating this point any further.

Hope there aren't any pi's silly enough to be giving their valuable BMN shares to the mms at this low level.

And before anyone has a go remember those same shares could have been sold for a higher price even this morning. So yes ... Silly is the word.

Oh good grief - a hard core brexit nut. That explains a lot.

Earlier today I dropped a hint about today being a special day. No one has picked up on it as far as I can tell so I hope I speak for everyone involved here in saying HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY to the Vanadium side of BMN.

The Mokopane Vanadium Project was announced on 27 November 2013. Congratulations to all fellow LTHs that have held for 5 years plus.

And I would also like to thank Fortune Mojapelo for delivering on his promises (and some!) and enabling the hopes and aspirations of many investors like myself to be achieved. It's been one hell of a journey!!!

It is also five years to the day that I first met Fortune. He made such an impression on me that I decided to give him my total support. I can't recall how many times I commented on this bb over those 5 years that he had the ability to produce great returns for those investors who had the patience to stay the course. Not sure even I realised just how true that would be.

So ..... in my opinion, Fortune has the ability and the opportunity to give great returns for today's investors who have the patience. One can only imagine what the next five years will bring.

I am not sure that ProactiveInvestor presentation evenings qualify as 'a major conference' but worth noting that Fortune have a presentation at this event on 27 November 2013. At around midday on that day BMN released the RNS announcing the Mokopane Vanadium project which moved the company away from being just another junior iron ore explorer - just about as big a news announcement as we have ever had and on the day of a significant presentation. I was fortunate enough to be at that presentation and fair to say that day changed my life!

So two things to note:

BMN might release big news on the day of a conference or presentation but their track record suggests that it is more likely that they won't.
BMN do not always release major news at 07.00 hrs

So no doubt they will continue to keep us all guessing! Exciting isn't it.

Chambers you say "Yep really impatient, we have only waited over a year!"

Any experienced investor in minerals, oil and gas would know that "...over a year ..." Is no time at all to be invested. I suggest you control your impatience and let the company get on with it. Spreading negativity is not going to speed up progress on site and you will just get on everyone's nerves.

If you are a genuine investor then a few more days or weeks should make no difference to you whatsoever. If you believe there is a chance that Brockham will yield good commercial oil rates then hold / top up etc. If you don't then sell.

For comparison my main investment is in another company (minerals, not oil and gas) where I had to wait 3 1/2 years to recover from being under water and get back to break even, but I believed the company would deliver and it has ... big time!!! A year and a half later and I am now 2,125% up. Literally life changing profit, and much more still to come. And the secret? I was patient.

So if you think that ANGS has the potential to deliver then please be patient and wait for the results.

It appears that at least 4 matched pairs of 100,000 shares (1buy 1 sell) have gone through.

Looks like at least some placing shares are being disposed of. Are they being mopped up by a buyer?

And how many if any have already been forward sold?

How many placing shares are in sticky hands?

I wonder if mms are holding shares back and / or suppressing the price until result of meeting known? Could see a quick jump in price?

Here are the relevant lines from the RNS:

"Admission, subject to shareholder approvals at General Meeting, on 22 November 2018" (This line refers to date of admission, not date of meeting)

"Accordingly, the Company is seeking the approval of Shareholders to the Resolutions which are to be put to the General Meeting of the Company to be held at the offices of Fladgate LLP at 16 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5DG at 11:00 a.m. on 21 November 2018."

It is my opinion that at least some of the placing shares have already been forward sold.

I wonder how many have been arranging extra funds to take advantage of this temporary drop. I can imagine the scramble to buy shares when the price rises.

A mid morning RNS could make things very interesting.
