Isn’t EUA still suspended?

Happy I loaded up on Friday now. Shorts will be fighting with everybody else to buy stock back this morning. I’m looking to buy another £25k worth of stock today as the oil talks look derisked. The only decision is bell or not to bell? It seemed to keep going on Friday and the lowest prices I got all day were the buys in the first 10 mins. It just never went back there. Will it do the same again or wait for a retrace.
Expecting a new account with one post to pop up soon and tell everyone not to buy because it’s going down.
Love it when these short parasites get caught with their pants down and love it even more when I can spend all morning adding to their pain by firing in little fill or kill orders that have to get dealt. Lol. Bring it on short boys!!! Ha ha.

I hope you’re right. I’ll be holding but If this goes down past my average at 14.7p I’ll be buying more. If it goes to 12p I’ll be selling other stock at a loss to buy this and if it goes to 10p I’ll sell virtually all my other holdings and empty the clip in here. Id love a 11/12p average. Let’s hope so. Good luck getting some.

Ha lol. If it does go down to 12p every man and his dog will be fighting for them but I doubt we’ll get any. It will be NT. I’ve made this mistake before, seen a stock drop to a bargain price, sold some other holdings to buy it, couldn’t buy it, constantly NT, it just rises as I’m trying to get in. Meanwhile, the stock I sold will cost me more to get back in as the mms raise the ask to offload my stock at a profit. I’m left with cash having been mugged and shafted. I can see that happening tomorrow. They’ll drop it but they won’t let you have any. Ha.

It wouldn’t help. Threatening tariffs, withdrawing military support in KSA etc are just negotiating cards that the US have in their pocket. It’s all posturing as they each try to get the best deal they can and try to force the other participants to cut more than they want to.

Yes. She correctly called that the meeting would be pushed back to Thursday the 9th before it was actually announced and now she’s confirming it’s going ahead on the 9th as some commentators are still saying it won’t happen due to friction between Russia and KSA and a supposed unwillingness from the US to participate in any cut strategy.
That now looks like old news and the meeting will definitely go ahead on Thursday 9th. The rest is posturing, bluff, face saving and taking positions during ongoing negotiations which are undoubtedly now taking place in the background and will be for the next few days IMO. GLA.

Of course it does. It’s a simple bluff. Don’t be so naive.
If I’m skint and I have to sell my house and a property developer wants to buy it to put a hotel on it I’m not going to tell him I’m skint. Even if he threatens to walk away if I don’t sell I’m going to say I’m not interested in selling right up to the point where I’m in his office and he’s upping his price. It’s simple. Never show your hand in any negotiation.

My average is currently 14.7p. If I can get any below that tomorrow then I’ll be very happy, especially if I can get the £20k allowance in my isa and available for trading during the day. Happy days.

Most of the doom n gloomers forecasting a break down in the talks seem to be saying so on the basis that the Americans claim they are not interested in any production cut.
Of course the Americans will say that. They are all saying that to a certain extent. It’s a negotiation with a deal to be done. Trump is a deal maker. They’re not going to approach the russkis and KSA from a starting point of willingness to cut back as much as the other parties want them to. They start from saying they won’t cut at all, then they all compromise, then they all cut some, then a deal will be done.
Norway and Canada coming on board and other producing nations joining will also help.
There is no more storage so they have to cut.
There are a lot of positive indicators. The Chinese buying oil here at these low prices is notable.
On balance I’ll be buying the drops here if there are any on Monday as I’m confident that a deal will be announced in the next 5-10 days, PoO will move back up toward $40 and Tullow SP will rise to c. 22-24p in a few sessions. So we are in the most volatile market environment for years and Gypsy Tomoz here confidently predicts the share price movement of this multi million Mcap company for the next five days. And by the time they meet on April 9 the level of their respective cuts will have already have been agreed. It will be a done deal by then. It’s a foregone conclusion. It’s actually being negotiated and agreed now. They aren’t going to meet on April 9th and start discussing their relative positions from scratch. That’s the crux of the matter: talks are happening now. April 9th will just be to formally agree what has been decided. Any idiot can see that. GLA.

Logitech I fully agree. The Saudis and Russians blaming each other is not so much a “rift” but a precursor to reconciliation as they both look to save face ahead of what they now realize as the inevitability of them both having to get back round the table, make compromises and agree to cuts.
As for the delay, I think that could be seen as undoubted confirmation that talks are ongoing in the background as many commentators were saying Trump just couldn’t wade in and sort this in a weekend, it was too complex, too good to be true. Well that was correct and now they have their answer, talks are ongoing, compromises will be made and an opec+ meeting will have the mardy bums all back round the table with red faces, teary eyes and quivering lips very soon and an agreement will be reached.
