Exactly LB28. My elderly mother has a flu jab every year and so normally doesn’t get anything.
This year at Christmas she was struck down with the worst flu she’s ever had. The family think she has possibly had C19 already but we obviously don’t know. He life is currently filled with terror and uncertainty thinking she’s going to die if she goes to the shop for milk.
As soon as these antibody tests are available I’ll be getting her one.
It’s uncanny the number of people that have said to me they had a really bad flu at Christmas and think they already had it.
We’re all curious. We all want to k ow if we’ve had it. Most of us will buy these antibody tests when they come out. That’s a certainty.

Millions will buy these antibody tests when they go on sale. They won’t be able to make enough of them.
I’m sat at home now feeling totally healthy so I don’t need to buy a test for Coronavirus. I haven’t currently got it. Wouldn’t buy an antigen test, no, I know when I’m sick for God’s sake.
What I want is an antibody test to know if I’ve had it. I want one, my family want one.
My 72 year old mother who is currently sat at home terrified had a very bad flu at Christmas. I think she’s already had it. I want a test for her.
When they’re available, all the family will buy them.
Everybody who’s had a bad cold between last Christmas and now will buy this antibody test when it’s available. We all want to know. Simple as that.

That’s the acid test. We all want to know if we’ve already had this damned thing and gotten over it. In the last few months I’ve had fevers, headaches, colds, coughs, dizzy spells, night sweats etc but no worse than I get every year with a bit of man flu. But have I had CV-19? I don’t know, but I’d love to know.
Guaranteed eternal immunity is not what I’m looking for essentially. I’d buy a test if only for the reassurance of knowing that it’s highly unlikely that it’s going to kill me if I get it again and I’m one of the lucky ones who only has mild symptoms.
If an antibody test were on sale at boots next week or thro Amazon I’d buy one, tenner, whatever, bang. I’d buy one for sure.

The Roche test has already been discussed at length. Please try to keep up. It needs to be sent off to a lab. See professors quote in article...

It isn’t a home test. The ODX test is a home test. No sending off to lab and waiting for results. Immediate results at home with 98% accuracy.

The Roche test is a lab test. Needs lab equipment. It’s not a home test.

I sold out at Easter to try and regain some losses on the covid pharmas. Even though it isn’t in my best interests I’m glad to see the TLW recovery and disappearance of the attention seeking bell end who will remain nameless. Tullow looks to be well on the path to better things and once I’m out of the Pharmas TLW will be my first Oiler buy!

So GSK are in on the antigen test with NCYT.

Roche are chasing the antibody testing solution but they only have a lab test.

When ODX come to the production phase on this antibody test maybe Roche will push to partner with ODX to license it and produce it in the states for global distribution under the Roche banner with royalties paid back to ODX and other consortium partners.
Wouldn’t that be a nice RNS.

The fact remains. GSK are not working to develop an antibody test. Zero fks given about their partnership with NCYT re an antigen test. It’s not relevant to ODX.

It doesn’t get much bigger than Roche and they have only managed to develop a lab antibody test.

GSK are working on a vaccine, not a test.

That theory is a non starter. The Gov want our own test, that’s why they’ve funded this consortium.

It’s very simple:
1.) All antibody tests currently available have failed the uk accuracy tests and are too unreliable. The article answers the question in its own headline. It’s taking so long because uk gov scientists have set the accuracy bar so high. That’s why it’s so difficult.

2.) The roche test is a lab test that needs a machine. It’s not a home test.

ODX and the consortium are said to be “very very close” to developing a 98%+ accurate home antibody test that will be better than anything currently available.

I live in Denia in Spain. The local Ajuntamiento and the Mayor have made 2 important announcements this week which have affected my decision not to buy this stock just yet.....

1. This summer they are not expecting much tourism from UK or Northern Europe and so they have reassured local people that measures will be in place to defer local tax payments to help local business.

2. The Mayor said there will be no Chringito bars or beach hire on the beaches this year and security guards will be employed to ensure people stick to social distancing guidelines on the beaches when they open again, no gatherings, parties etc.

3. Numbers in bars and clubs will be limited and strictly controlled.

Basically, once people find out what its going to be like here on the Med who's going to pay Thousands for a holiday to come then be subject to such harsh restrictions.

I'll leave my Easyjet entry until after summer. It will be a decent recovery play but not yet IMO. GLA.

When they nail the accuracy of this test, announce design freeze then announce going into production within weeks the MCap here will be minimum £100Mill, 70pps min. IMO.

That huge £455k sell is likely to be the last of the seller I’d think. Odd number, last huge chunk. Looks like they’re gone in my opinion.

I filtered the plum. I have no idea about pharmas, I’m an oil engineer so I’m looking for informed comment, both positive and negative and I’m all ears. These noddys are just bitter though. I just sold out of my remaining small holdings in AA, SIG, ESL and put my last £14k in here at 28.25, £3k buy, £7k buy and a last one at about £4400. Just sit back and wait now. GLA.

No. They notified yesterday morning. They had 8 million shares on the 14th April. They’ve been selling for 3 days since then. Expecting a 3% TR1 today which will probably say that they crossed the 3% threshold yesterday, 16th.

This drop is Oryx selling still. They’ve been selling every morning. Then they let the buying volume build in the afternoon and let the SP recover and away it goes in the afternoon.
They must be very close to being done now. This afternoon could be the last of it.
If you’re trading this swing then be aware that one afternoon you’ll take the profit and be waiting for the Oryx dump and pullback the following morning and it won’t come. The SP will just lift under buying volume. That will be Monday IMO. I think Oryx will be finished today IMO. DYOR. GLA.
