Covid stoppage will have helped the de-stocking in Q2 in parallel with the reduced cost of furloughed staff - a big benefit (i think there were about ~ 600 units still to go after the Q1 578 de-stock units.
Do DBX orders generate earnings through wholesale or retail deposits ?
My thinking is that when the Q2 earning reports (US, europe, etc) that there'll be a big overall corrections (like 2008 situation where deepest fall came 6-9 months after initial crash). I'm getting the feeling that there's so much upside here that even if there's an overall correction we won't come down to the 70 p region for AML.
Been a great week and enjoying the ride - have a small holding of 1100 at 45p. The £1 that seemed a pipe dream from Mr Nation doesn't seem far away (I remember he also predicted 30p that everyone rubbished too).
I know its about the long game (Mr Nation's £5+ , but with Q2 coming to end, how do you think the new management team will handle the results in July - there's probably going to be double the losses of Q1 (I'm assuming earning will be negligible - yes/no ?) - guess if there's a dip it'll be another buying opportunity.
IMO won't get one until delivery of 1st DBX in a few weeks time - and will be mixed with statement on solid medium-term strategy , planned reopening of Gaydon, and balanced with hints at redundancies and the direction of Q2 results.
Don't think anyone posted this one yesterday - apologies if a repeat.

Paul, I agree there's a clear link between RNS of 1st June and RNS of 20 May
'% of voting rights through financial instruments' show a swap of 3%
but '% of voting rights attached to shares' are reduced in both cases, 2% and 4% respectively.
A 19% major holder (Investindustrial Advisors Limited) will know about the AML (new) plan. If they believe its a bad plan, why sell only 5%, if the other 14% could be further degraded if bad news is on the way. If they believe its a good plan they show flexibility to make it work eg lending their 5%. Market might be nervous tomorrow, so our opportunity to lower our averages.
Hey WGhost, great story thanks for sharing with us - must have been some amazing highs and lows out in Iraq - I guess the team spirit gets you through.
To tell you the truth the 'Magnificent 7' in my message was referring to the 6 pack + 1 wife - think we agree on that too. Cheers !
