the point to try and take in (mho) is that if all the shares are taken up at 8p then the market cap of 480 million (give or take the 2.5% we are looking at the moment) is based at 8p. if you belive the market cap of interseve is 1billion, then its around double that 8p... 16p etc....it is a big IF if they re taken up at 8p

so 8p per share value..thats on their figures.....probably a bit less when people cotton on.

I feel sory for those who didn't sell at 70p when I mentioned a few months back.
480million in new equity.
480,000,000 divide by 40 (97.5%) =market cap. =12,000,000 (lower than it is at the moment!)
in time they will go up. but it might take you a while to reach this 13p!

to be honest I would strongl suggest at best these shares are worth around 3p per share at absolute best.
probably quir0te a bit less. that's only 1/5th not upto 1/40th that it is being diluted by and that will still leave a company with a debt factored in of around 1/3rd market cap or worse.
now the news is out I must do other things and look elsewhere for now.

I would suggest a max of around 180p market worth for dividing your shares upto.
i.e 180multiplied by shares in issue at the moment as a baseline for the max the company market cap is worth. tbh that might be generous. these shares are then worth 2.5% of that value at 97.5% dilution.
the 180 is is where d white bought in at.iirc.
I dont see it shooting back to 6 quid a share or even 2 quid a share in a rush. unless the bod are willing to hand out dividends again while piling up debt.

the best thing is the present shareholders shares are worth something.

as it stands the debt 480mil debt wiped out by dilution of 97.5%
still leaves 250mil debt.
sp is worth 1/40th of present.'so multiplying the sp by 40........
so as a rough guide at the moment the market value is 800million market cap and the SP is 6 quid a share!
slightly optimistic but there you go!
at the risk of repeating myself....looking for 10p noi8nal value would be doing well if you work it to those numbers imho

I think it could shoot up again tho.

gms on the other hand probably will be a netter bet to climb to multiples of it share price over a period of time.

I was trying to explain that the volatility in the sp might be the start of a rinse and little to do with anything else as such a low sp allows for 25% or better swings.

the word volatile was aimed at the price fluctuations......perhaps a rinse going on or just about to start.

takeover? there are large areas to be surveyed still on the licence.

well this is the practicalities now.
as the plant becomes more operational instead of install/commissioning delays there will delays of operator training and maintenance awareness. in a way its positive there are not too many messages to allow "familiarisation time".
in a way I think it good they are telling you the process works and is in place. they are hardly going to want to say there are shifts of guys at the plant we want to walk through the process and get familiar. that would be my guess.
just because your a train driver doesn't mean you can drive every train.....or on any track.
or even do so after 6 months....it produced gold...the process and plant worked......all good news tbh.

if there is a bit there could be money to made day trading. although that has disappeared the last week or two.

you see this is the true magic of it.
we have a massive turnover.
we good operating profits.
we have good dividends.
we have a share price of 500p+
we borrowed so much based on these number (and they were out because everyone believed there own bull) that there was not a sp correction as with KIER but a collapse.
I am trying to say and I quote"the price of 10p nominal value is why this SP is hovering here at the moment".
its peoples optimism that this 10p value is worth more (not actual knowledge) thats drivin the price to 12p.
as I said......"material dilution" be careful.
if I though the sp was going to be worth 180p that the ceo bought in at (iirc) I would buy some.
if the top mangement all re-mortgaged their houses I bet they could probably buy enough stock to send the sp to about 50p but I dont know if that would be worth it after the d4e swap. in fsct they might even be able to buy enough to own the whole floated company and thus the own whole debt at 18million market cap.
I certainly would help your argument of reducing the number of shares issued to the debtors and be in the best interests of present shareholders and the company I they bought as many shares as they could afford.
I will stop posting because this isn't helping anyone and is being a bit silly just to make a point.

I think that is the real problem.
with the d4e swap there are so many ways it could play out with the goodwill of the debt holders coming to an agreement. as you said a nice straight forward d4e is very unlikely.
people holding shares and having a punt at 10p nominal value is (as my best guess) keeping the share price hovering around this level.
that's why the previous heading of 10p a share. as you said if the true value is -50p per share at the moment the sp cant reflect that.
if your a share holder with a lot in it these things are edge of your seat. if not there interesting.
the only thing I can be damn sure of - the share price wont be anywhere near the same and will move quite a bit on the released news.
the wording of "material dilution" is open and honest if you look though and that is why I think your shares will be worth quite a bit less.
