I can't believe you are invested in BMN and dont know where the contamination occurred. It was explained in the Q3 operational update. Nothing to do with the quality of the electrolyte, more to do with the filling process.
"The delay from the original timeline for the project, which saw delivery of hardware at the end of Q2 2018, resulted from the unexpected contamination of the electrolyte that occurred during the filling stage, which was discovered during system commissioning that made the VRFB inoperable."
