Some analyst view on valuation is interesting to know, but that's about it. It's more about how much KEFI want to sell - seems they're determined - and then who & how much someone is willing to pay for it - and that won't be market value most probably especially if KEFI have indicated their determination to divest.

No one pays the spot value for a resource in the ground.

Wrt Kefi I really don't care what the gold price is if they can't close the ruddy financing!

I mean, I thought had HAA any credibility the last RNS would have resulted in a serious rerate - but he doesn't. He needs to get signatures, end of.

@ihowells - agree it's obvious they have been drilling for a while, equally obvious that this facilitated insider buying over the last week or so - honestly this raised more questions in my mind about CMET leadership.

@MF - fingersX'd we experience the same with COBRA later this year.

Obviously not too much new information in this Sunday Roast so I look for subtle changes in narrative. This is what I noticed:

- Suggestion made that GMET is looking to become THE Tungsten company

- We've been briefed already about the possibility that Golconda will be either sold off or JV'd, for the first time I heard the same about Garfield.

Bear in mind these are paid for podcasts so I'm sure the guys are told what questions to ask or at least what themes GMET want covered.

I imagine many people would be very sorry to see GMET interest in Garfield diminished at this stage of the exploration, given how exciting it's been up to now. I know I would.

I know there are other metals mixed in with the Tungsten deposits but two of the most exciting metals right now, and for the foreseeable, are Gold & Copper and I'd like to see at least Garfield retained or at the very least explored a lot more.

I also note the last exploration drill hole is now being drilled in PM (tweet on X) - which would technically free up some drilling for Garfield? Why not explore more, unless OF (as an exploration geologist) feels it's not worth it (?)

Also interested to hear that OF has been told the reactivation of the Tempiute mine may not present many issues normally encountered in restarting an old mine - of course you never know until you initiate the process.

Lets see going forward if the £50m mcap triggers any investment from small cap funds - as long as we can hold above that level.

Not sure the 3m seller has finished, just willing to reduce holding in smaller chunks, or whether that sale has triggered some others to sell - end of year tax losses if you're booking tax gains on others (Gmet, OMI, etc)

I've been watching OMI for years - was in years ago but got out (total luck) around 20p.

Golden age of mining - yes maybe. But how long does it take to build a mine? How long does a Golden Age last?

Yes I know the idea here will be to prove up as much as possible and JV/sell out - but I think that's where I came in before.

Not back in yet, but with Gold price where it is it's tempting just need a little shift in general market sentiment towards natural resources.

You wake up, read and think great, fantastic, here we go (finally), and then mr. cynic wakes up and concentrates on that ...'subject to...' phrase and you think hmm... okay let's wait an see. Does documentation take forever, or a KEFI forever?

But I want to remain invested in a viable potentially producing company. Rehabilitating debunked mines is fraught with challenges (costly challenges) and right now do we know the costings here versus the potential rewards (not yet) - personally I'd have wanted that analysis before the rush to secure the investment - I understand the reasons we didn't but we still need that analysis - just how much of a defined resource is there?

My concern, looking at the history of POW and how that brand is almost toxic to the point where the cash at bank almost equals the mcap, is that we go down the POW route of yesteryear of issuing RNSs for the sake of it when they don't add much value and in fact raise more questions.

My initial retort was to a statement that surely there were no more compelling cases for a grant - that is simply NOT the case.

Sorry but there's bu**er all information in that RNS. A valuation 21 yrs old! Exactly how much $$$ is required to get ot up and running and is it actually ecomonical to run?

There's a heck of a lot of data required before it'd qualify for any grants, let alone financing plans.

Really don't understand the point of that RNS except for the point of having an RNS on a Monday morning.

I tend to agree. I see a lot of crazy trades this time of year related to booking capital losses etc.
