Looking at those maps in the latest presentation, Isobel is further south so not included in the Central Area.

Ah excuse me, looking at that presentation it does look like Isobel is now in the Central area (how confusing!).

Don’t forget they can’t allocated the true resources until it’s been appraised.

You’d think it would be more than 7% if there were any operational issues but I have no inside info.

LTT, Isobel and Elaine (as per the recent CPR) have been recategorised as being part of the ‘Southern Development Area’. They haven’t been included as part of the NPV analysis.

Half of the Hormuz Strait belongs to Oman though and it’s not just China that would resist any form of closure.

Let’s hope for everybody’s sake that energy prices don’t spike from here.

I confess I wanted circa 50p to sell out after the Longboat debacle. Now that it’s reached that price the temptation was there but I see many multiples of that now with the new strategy so I’ve changed tack and will hold for the foreseeable.

I’ve been pretty negative here after the Norway saga but have a lot of confidence in Menzies and they are starting to deliver. I can’t see this under £2 once the drillbit is turning at Kertang considering the upside and the other assets they’ve now secured.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s presentation and to see if they’ve got anything else in the pipeline (although noting the oil price volatility might not help).

Exciting times and I also have a 2 (possibly) 3 year horizon for which I’m happy to wait. The market will catch up at some point and shares are in short supply.

You’re (deliberately) missing the point Chess and talking nonsense as usual.

A 2.5% stake in Sea Lion is not immaterial at all, although I suspect the likelihood is that one company will take a percentage from both Navitas and Rockhopper.

20% off Navitas and 2.5% off RKH for example would leave:

Navitas 45% (Operator)

Rockhopper 32.5%

Third Partner 22.5%

Not saying they will be the exact percentages but just an example.
