Just for clarity, I'm not suggesting that the JV is not huge, potentially, but the RNS stated that 'JV becoming operational by 1 September 2021' suggests to me that an update is not imminent. If I am proved incorrect, even better!!

Timescales is the debate, as we both say, updates on a number of fronts are expected Q3 and beyond.

SP is getting battered atm, which as you say is odd, perhaps, as been discussed triggered stop losses. Still not convinced that a JV update is needed and/or it will be material.

If I recall GB stated that the next round of STC marketing was planned for summer, that plus an update on progress on STC (ie take up) would be interesting.

All good with regards DVRG atm, current mkt value low, lets see?

Thanks, I just assumed the China JV had been signed/agreed prior to June 30th and no follow up RNS was needed as the partnered company is stated and the 49/51% agreement was specified. You make a good point with regards Microtox PD opening up in other areas, that's a possibility!!

Agree, many moving parts and revenue streams, let's see what transpires.

What information/update are you thinking will drop... Except for the £1m+ contract (x2) hinted at (presumably waste water detection - a China province) am not sure where material news will come from prior to Sept.

Have I overlooked something?

Agree, trading is trading, but this seller/or sellers has/have battered the SP over the last few weeks!! No clue of their motives (except profit), timing is odd if news around the corner ... Hey! Ho!, onwards and upwards

Agree, and yes you are just a random call sign on a BB, a smart and well researched one though. I am looking to strengthen my LIFE position in the next weeks for the same reasons.

Fair reflection and well researched as always.... There are as many positives to DVRG as the company is repositioning themselves with Skin Trust Club only just been created, partnership with MSYS is new and merger with MWG technology is ongoing. Labskin seems to be gaining momentum and seems to be an industry standard. Much potential going forward, the company require sales for SP to move.

Excerpt from the RNS re China JV:

'On or before closing, the parties will negotiate, agree, and execute a number of definitive agreements for the Joint Venture which are expected to be signed by 30 June 2021 with the JV becoming operational by 1 September 2021. DeepVerge would own 49% of the JV and China Resources 51%.

No other update is expected prior to September 1st 2021 (except maybe on definitive agreements)

Sobering thoughts:
- SP for 2021 has moved from 37p (Jan 12th) to current 29.50p, even after positive updates, Mkt Cap has increased due to fund raise (10m)
- Market does not add any value to the MWG merger (in essence) which occurred in Oct/November 2020
- Turner Pope target price of circa 87p (note of middle Jan) seems a long way off at this moment in time.

Oh absolutely if the DVRG was £1.00 ie £180m market value then a £30m buyout/raise would be more palatable for shareholders.

MWG was taken over for approx £18m and their spending on tech(to that point) was £20m - Food for thought!!

Evening Sir! - The MSYS merger/buyout seems nailed on for me! and therefore 'How will this be financed'

MSYS in their presentation yesterday confirmed that £30m had been spent on technology to date so lets assume the fee would be £28-32m.

Finance - A dilution/raise from existing shares or DVRG believe that over the next few months a large order £20m+ will give the company the financial backing they would need.

They have already raised £10m recently and we could assume some is for debt/cash burn and some for future manufacturing or mergers and acquisitions.

Let's see!! Lots of assumptions in the above but fun to debate
