Agree, I originally invested in MWG (8-10 years ago) purely due to desalination. If I recall the CEO suggested that MWG were a small company that were not in a financial position to target that sector and challenge the big boys in a sector that took many years to get established.

I may have butchered that but it did make operational sense to refocus Modern Water focus when he explained it.

If I recall the CEO confirmed that Deepverge had moved their focus of operations away from desalination, in the short term future to focus on wastewater pathogen detection. Without doubt the technology is still part of their portfolio.

Just my opinion, perhaps research on the MWG website and share if you find a different interpretation.

Two really good and balanced posts and FWIW I agree with the sentiment of them both. Am building a chunky stake over the next few months as I believe not much (SP wise) will happen until 2022

Was expecting a trading update around now as 'mid Aug' was spoken about. SP has faltered over last few days with some heavy sellers, lets hope for some positive news and market interest.

More drivel and incoherence from the poster who predicted a SP of 'late thirties' by last Friday. So you were basically 30% out in 5 trading days.

Constant ridiculous ramping is as derogatory to the company as constant unresearched de-ramping.

I only invested in OCTP a few weeks ago, FWIW, am very impressed with this company, their projection, how they communicate with the markets, their technology/ products and their huge potential.

That said the SP has (coincidently) dropped since me buying in Ha Ha Ha - Hey Ho!!

'OCTP intends to issue a trading update for the financial year ended 31 May 2021, in mid-August ahead of entering its Closed Period (as defined under the Market Abuse Regulation). Publication of its final results for the year ended 31 May 2021 will be approximately one month later'

RNS re Crowd for Angels Funding details. Warrants issued not great but par for the course I guess. £350k raised towards working capital. Now need an update with regards operations and forward looking road map
