Yes I agree LGEN is another stock its nice to have in the mix. I've held for a while now, but made the mistake of halving my holding last year to take some profit, wish I hadn't now. It still makes up 4.44% of my portfolio though with my average being £2.2216. Its been good to me and I wish I had more like it.
Don't know if you are interested but I think quite highly of UKW, AAF and SSE. If you are not familiar with them, might be worth some research. UKW over the last 12 months or so has more than doubled my investment (unrealised paper profit) than TRIG who I think you are familiar with. I'm quite keen on renewables and quite like a utility in these uncertain times. SSE as you probably know falls nicely in both camps. AAf I think carries a reasonable amount of risk, and I got in quite early but it is a growth/dividend stock and therefore also ticks two boxes.
MNG is qyuite new to me but I feel it looks good, averageing down has worked well for me with stocks I have a lot of faith in, unfortunately I've also chased a price down before just to try and recoup losses, and that hasn't tended to work out so well for me, still, every day is a school day and hopefully I've learned my lessons.
Interesting your view of funds, glad they are working for you, I guess I'm a bit of a control freak so tend towards individual shares, mistakes still hurt but at least they are my fault. I don't do as well as the best funds, but I do considerably better than the worst ones.
