I think that your statement that this is going nowhere is a little naive at best.
There are many projects worldwide in the development stage, some of which will undoubtedly prove to be econimically unviable, many more will be aquired by larger concerns like Piedmont and various Chinese concerns, and very few will go on to be viable and profitable entities in their own right or by merging with other entities.
I do not believe ZNWD will prove to be economocally un-viable based on the data I have read thus far, although I accept it is a possibility but in my view very unlikly.
will it become one of the few that stand out above its peers, we just don't know nor can we predict with any certainty.
I do believe that at current prices it is likly to reward stock holders with decent returns within a 5 to 10 year timescale, either in the form of being aquired by another entity or by being a succesful producer of materials itself.
I learned long ago that get rich quick schemes tend to be doomed from the start, but progressive wealth building within reasonable parimeters does tend to be successful over a longer timescale.
Look beyond the SP, it will move lower on occasion, as it will at times increase. Profitability is what counts, ROE, will it return a profit, for myself the answer is yes I believe it will. I may be wrong, but its a simple decision for each investor, if you believe it will not return a profit there is no incentive to invest and any holdings should be disposed of.

I found the presentation by Anton Du Plessis on youtube, so thanks for pointing me to that.
The presentation is about a month old, around 21 minutes into the presentation Anton gives a production date forecast of around 2025.
My experience of large projects is that there is a tendency for 'slippage' and exceeding forecast associated costs.
However I suspect that there will be some urgency from both gouvernments and potential customers that could positively impact time to production.
On balance I suspect that 2025/2026 is not unrealistic as a timeframe to see products being shipped to end users.
Funding is the question, will there be further dilution by issue of further shares?
The financials I have found (which may be out of date) show ZNWD making a loss of £1.46m (1.73m euro) per annum.
When construction of mines/processing commences I suspect this will increase.
When looking at assets and liabilities, assets greatly exceed current liabilities and long term liabilities.
ZNWD is to all intents and purposes debt free.
The company has a cash runway of around 3 years, so my view is that there will at some point be a need to raise additional funding. This is neither surprising or a negative and is to be expected. I do not believe that ZNWD will have any issue aquiring further funding, or be limited to what form that funding takes.
I am not especially interested in the SP per se, as I am interested in this company as a long term investment to provide future dividend income akin to other conventional mining. Mining tends to be cyclical, however fot at least the next decade I believe that Lithium will continue in an upward trend.
For me the SP only becomes relevent in relation to building a position or selling stock.
I will be adding more of this stock to my portfolio over the next few years, mostly in small batches of around 10000 shares. Hopefully this will smooth out my exposure to risk.
Mining exploration and development is both costly and fraught with potential dissapointments, but I believe this stock has de-risked somewhat over the past 12 months.
I like this company for a number of reasons, and would welcome any other investor insights/views.

At the moment with no further info I'm guessing sometime after April 2024.

I've looked through various compant reports and other materials but have been unable to identify an estimated year when production is forecast.
I appreciate that ZNWD is still in the development stage, which is reflected in the SP, and I'm not expecting production to be possible this year or indeed next year.
Has anyone seen any indication when production is forecast to commence?
I already have a small interest in the company and am considering increasing this holding.
ZNWD is geographically well situated and in a stable political area that has incentive to favor Lithium producers.
Geology results thus far look promising, as does local infrastructure.

I agree, BP. should avoid drawing attention to its current profitability, hide the money in debt repayments, share buybacks at these prices, and investing in both green and legacy energy. Legacy energy sources will be required for at least the next decade, if not beyond. The risk associated with reliance on other gouvernments for our energy has become only too apparant over the last few weeks.
This will grow the companies profitability, any 'special taxes' simply remove value, and do little to support the future energy needs of the country.

I've held LGEN for years, and added another 2857 shares at £2.632, its increased my average to £2.375 but when holding long term its hard to average down.
It may drop a little more but I'm happy.

I agree a placing will cause a drop in SP, after all it is a dilution of share holding, however markets look forwards and I think that is already priced into the current SP so the drop will likely be small and short lived.
That said I don't intend to add at the moment for other reasons, but I wouldn't let the placing stop me.

Well I added another 6855 shares @ 14.45p.
I'm only adding in very small lots, and only on dips.
I believe that Lithium miners are the new 'gold' miners, but they will not all come good.
I also hold small amounts of ALL, CUSN, EMH, and KOD.
RIO is my main holding relating to Lithium with a sizeable investment, mainly because it diversifies its mines.
I believe Cornish Lithium may IPO sometime this year, and its on my watch list.

I just opened a small holding in ZNWD, I also hold BHL, ALL, CUSN, KOD, and a large holding in RIO.
I will be adding to these Lithium stocks throughout the year.
It appears to me that Lithium is the new 'gold', and while many stocks will fall by the wayside, or get aquired by other companies, some will provide good returns.

I personally doubt very much that the next dividend will be paid, I don't think it will be cancelled, but it's almost certainly going to have the decision deferred to a later date.
I have no doubt the cash is there, it's just that I think the BOD will hang on to it for now.

Three late trades of through late on the 14th, two at £7m and one at £882.53k. Thats £14.882m from institutional investors I would assume.
They appear to be unusually large investments.
Any insight?

My average is £3.48 so looking at a £9.5k paper loss at the moment, but I'm going to sleep just fine.

Sorry I wasn't aware I was bashing. I hold a smidge under £25k of this stock so no real reason to.
I posted the 5 years figures because that is what I found, as for POLY 2 years ago being different to POLY 5 years ago, that may well be so, but likewise POLY over the next 2 years may well be different.
I accept you have a different expectation regarding the dividend, but try and be a little less sensitive. Like everyone else I post my views, I've never said I know what will happen, except I am certain you won't see 30% based on the XD price.
If nothing else what would it do to the SP on XD day.

The average dividend over the past 5 years has been 2.83%, so my previous post is probably optimistic, although the 2.83% doesn't include special dividends.

I just realised my post may be misleading.
I of course dont mean 8% to 10% of the capital investment, I mean 8% to 10% of the SP at the XD.
In reality the % of the dividend will be higher in relation to capital investment if you aquired stock at a reduced price, so depending what your average is I suppose its possible you could view your personal dividend nearer the 30%.
Its possible that some may have an average under £1, not me unfortunately.

I agree, a more realistic dividend will be 8% to 10%, with perhaps a special as a one off to cover the deferred dividend.
Like everyone else I don't know how much, but I am absolutly certain it will not be 30%.

Well it did drop.
So added another 1181 shares @ £2.38.
Done for the day now.

Well I just added another 857 shares @ £2.47, now holding 5947 shares.
It may well drop, maybe a lot who knows, but these are keepers for long term income so short term price movement means nothing other than a chance to add.
It simply comes down to this, do you believe POLY will be still making a profit in 10 years, if not walk away.
I accept I may be wrong and could lose capital, but just like everyone else I only buy what I believe will provide me good returns.
If I'm wrong I lose, if I'm right I win.
What I don't do is buy or sell stock based on someone elses views.
