I have no idea how Peel Hunt are arriving at these figures.

2023 would you rather have that money sat in a bank account getting eroded by inflation earning around 1$% or taking an investment risk and sitting in a UJO share with at least some more potential.

I'm 49 years old going on 50...
Will I be getting a state pension at 65? NO
Will I be able to retire at 65? NO
Will I be in a stable financial position at 65 thus meaning I won't need to worry about my latter years? NO
Will I be in a position to financially support others at 65 because I've got cash on the hip? NO
Will I get a state pension before I'm 70? WHO KNOWS.
Will I even get the chance to retire at a sensible age to enjoy the twilight of my years? PROBABLY NOT.

I'm just part of an era who is expected to work until we drop! Who are just expected to pay our taxes to support those who can't be bothered to do a thing! Who are just ignored and treated with utter contempt and disdain while we contribute our taxes to support those who don't contribute a thing!
It's an outrage how our pensioners are treated but how about we take a moment to reflect on the plight of those millions of small business owners at 49/50 years old like myself who's future now looks bleak and catastrophic? How about we take a moment to think about those millions of 49/50 year old's who will probably have to work until the day they die because Government after Government have wasted billions of tax payers money on flawed policies and ludicrous agenda's? How about we take a moment to think about how MY forgotten era will be no doubt be subjected to years of endless abuse and vitriol by WOKE PC Correct Government's whilst being expected to pay for the privelidge via our taxes thanks to the ineptness and ineptitude of Government's who made the conscious decision that we weren't as important as those 16/25 year old's who couldn't handle criticism, who couldn't make their minds up about what gender they were or who jumped on any ludicrous bandwagon that rolled into town?
As I said above it's an outrage how our pensioners are being treated but I'll hazard a guess that us 49/50 year old's will face a much grimmer and bleaker future than them...

Tomorrow we will be subjected to a budget delivered by a Chancellor who is despised by his own party's members and overseen by a Prime Minister who wasn't democratically elected by his own party's members!

Two irkesome untrustworthy individuals who were dismissed as also rans now miraculously reside in the two most prominent positions in Government to relay their potential messages of doom and despondency to tax payers up and down the land? Two irkesome untrustworthy individuals who in their time as Government ministers played a part in systematically destroying both our health system and economy are now apparently the one's who we the tax payer are supposed to trust to dig us out of the financial mess that they themselves had a part in creating? Two irkesome untrustworthy individuals who plotted and schemed to usurp and topple democratically elected Prime Ministers at the bequest of their handlers are now the one's who we are supposed to believe are a good honest safe pair of hands? Two irkesome untrustworthy individuals who will not and never will be financially impacted by either recession or austerity are the one's we should be thankful to for potentially plunging us into yet another cycle of recession and austerity? Two irkesome untrustworthy individuals who have no real interest in supporting the self employed or the small business owner while they spend all their time schmoozing with billionaire philanthropists who want to enforce their own narratives and agenda's on society that would limit self worth, self sufficience and self prosperity are now the one's we are supposed to trust implicitly?
Tomorrow another despondent message will again be delivered to a nation still reeling and feeling the consequences of abysmal governence, ludicrous decision making and ill thought out policies and agenda's! But tomorrow it will be delivered by those who were never democratically elected which in itself proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that parlimentary democracy and democracy itself is nothing more than an a made up illusion....
