GGP should continue to rise i think.... but doesn't have the multi-age potential of ROCK now.

There are benefits to carbon @George20.... considerably lighter than large steel discs, and will last as long as you're likely to keep the car. They're hellish expensive.... but considering the 20kg or so you're not lugging around permanently and that cost saving in fuel, and their elimination of replacement costs - I suspect over the life of a vehicle it's about neutral.

And when warm they most definitely stop a bit better.

No @sharegnomie, HL could not honour the CERP shares in lieu of receiving from BPC. They're not a bank.

Steel/carbon is not what makes a great braking system. Super/GT cars that are tweaked for the track generally go from carbon back to steel ;o).
I've spent a day round Imola in an Urus - and true, tyre temp is the limiting factor rather than brakes - the brakes will always take more. But you're never, ever going to get anywhere near that on the road.
Carbon brakes on the road can be a bit dodgy... when wet/cold you really do have to stamp on them to stop the first time.

Hybrid is still new, developing fast, and expensive.
IMO they've done perfect - prove the concept, prove the platform, get it into profit, then start with the really clever shiz.
Exactly as Lambo are doing. The next Urus will be lighter, faster, more aggressive and hybrid. Aston need to keep some tricks in the bag to combat.

I've had an Urus for a year - mind blowing, physics bending, head turning.... quicker than my RS6 was and corners as flat as a sports car. And you can fit the whole family + kitchen sink in it. DBX has a lot to live up to but after your commentary I'm hopeful! I know it's not as quick.... but there is no real need to be THAT quick.

Results? Not so much.
Even tho the car with AML wings the back just won the race....
