Any sign of it -usually stock ?

I was wrong about these when they rose above 257p but I still will not buy them back until they retrace to there. However longer term the current level will be regained. Ramped up much too far too quickly. However a personal opinion about a good company

My understanding is that RSA are primarily in UK Canada and Sweden. However big impacts seem to blow accross whole sectors providingsometimes buying opportunity -other things being equal. It seems some of the bigger european insurers like Swiss Re Munich Re are affected as AIG in America. but I amstill searching for any RSA connection -but it cannot be substantial.

Why not buy some DRX. Increased profits -not dependent on forieign imports and the cleanest coal fired power station. Then you have more international power and a nice divi coming. Some are pessimistic seeing higher input costs -but this is going to affect other producers too. Look at uranium prices for a start-will gas get cheaper ? IPR -wellit is projected that there may be growth here but at some considerable risk and very little if any dividend growth. Might the SP increase giving some compensation ? Is IPR really a growth stock -or will GDF Suez be the growth stock and this the cash cow. Then there is CNA -a rising dividend but rather susceptible to press rantings and Government interference particularly if we ever god forbid get another Labour led Government.

Good to see this old established company holding up well when it hits a rough patch. If colder winters do become more frequent and nobody knows then premiums will have to go up for everybody. Already a good dividend we might not get anymore but plenty to be thankful for.

Lot of buys into this very undervalued stock.

Why don't they pay cash / Why stock divi diluting your holding. I was keen on these once. Saw them recently thought they might be worth another go from lower but not to hold. What rights have shareholders in this . As for trust I asked a question -if you have no rights you need to.! Good luck trading

This company -I like what they do -but can you trust them ! They don't give proper dividends -its DOG EAT DOG. Its EXPLOITATION. You exploited us for 200 years -we want to exploit YOU. So they pay you a 'STOCK DIVIDEND ' How nice -very kind. You can sell their poxy divi if you like and pay your brokers fee at bid price -as for fungicide -I will stay in GLaxo - Gedavis ballo Barsi !

Now have over 3% of this stock. Fair value 150p on 6% dividend in this growing company. Who will buy it out to take out their price competition for £2 Hargreaves Lansdown ? Ex date 10/11

Fourth quarter dividend increased to 3p making 9p for the year. Also announce new Financial Controller and trading in linewith expectations-that means they arecontinuing to take market share as they ought to be with the lowest cost stockbroker @ £5.95 per trade

Is this company running on its fat ? What holds it up apart from the dividend which is kind but until 2013 unless the Gulf Stream has really moved south and penguins will soon be on our shores in winters like last and getting more severe -might that be a good hope ?

They did eventually pay up their dividend and they have been paying good dividends since 8p last year and maybe 9p this year. Also they are have been making good progress with what they do without the high interest rates onthe cash held in client accounts. If they can do this well in these circumstances they will be back over £2 as interest rates rise. When will that be ? Well ex BOE Sir JohnGrieve expects 7 Bank of E ngland rate rises in next 12 months - that would be good for their cash flow.

Were a good buy at under 450 but don't see them worth nearly 600 -its only low interest rates doing it,Sometimes better to say -missed the boat and wait for a correction -however who knows how long -divis meanwhile but worth the anxiety ?

This bank should not be allowedto issue shares on the stock exchange. They only want to raise money and never intend to pay a divi. Not to say they should not exist but in the right place. They should issue bondswith a fixed repayment date with a profit paid then. That would be Islamic. If they cannot make a profit they should register as a charitable institution.

Money week probably generating todays rise. This really ought to be the rock bottom level but until we get full results you cannot be 100% sure so I took a bite and will wait - long term its undervalued and and is a divi payer. Some wories about its reputation due to the problems earlier in the year but clearly a one off and no impairment of the security of the banknotes.Pension deficit an issue but manageable. Any further downside will be an adding opportunity but we might not be so lucky. Results next month might show cost cutting and other measures that show the company in better shape.

I hope you are right ! I am sadly resigned to inflation further out. In America they cannot seem to understand that the reason their housing maket is undeperperforming is that it has in recent years has come as in UK the expectation that you run the economy on the housing market ! The housing market should depend upon the earnings from pretty well everything else to pay peoples mortgages.For those in power money in their bricks and mortar not their currency is their store of value whether left or right.. This company does not depend upon earnings to pay mortgages or consumer demand but rests upon fees ultimately and their rentals are linked to inflation. I only hope the company is not bought out -too cheaply ayt least ! I mark it as Hold because I bought long ago but if you have none they are a good buy because there is a good yield without the downside risks on bonds and preference shares when inflation takes off. If they let inflation take off up to 20% with % rates 8% -10% then we will all have to scratch our heads again !

My only concern with this short term is the recent appreciation of sterling that may affect earnings from Germany. Of course these assets were bought when sterling was high but we have been in a sweet period for the earnings with a very weak £. That is the only negative I can see on safe property investments -at the present time.It suggests that there will be no increase in the dividend. .

Well I am not sentimental for sure. I like to invest for dividends and try to avoid capital losses ! I would like to add to my holding by either buying more cheaper than 1707 or by selling higher than now and repurchasing more for less money subsequently missingas few divis as possible. Sorry if I was a bit rough on you though and will be more careful -all angles are useful and really appreciate reading posts! P
