Yes exactly, thats why we call it all volatile share in a very low market sentiment arena, hence aviation industry, obviously there are investors in the sense those that have held on the the shares, you understand trading right, the volume trading daily indicates the trend. ( More sells than buying)There are obviously investors otherwise share price would be zero !

The rights issue from my understanding of the accounting is not potentially needed for at least 12 months when revolving loan facility needs to be renogitated, the problem we are seeing is there is a current lack of interest in RR in the crisis we see, there turnover is still strong. Prefferential bank bond to underwrite the need of keeping a strong cash flow is being investigated, and a rights issue, is not needed at this moment, as the revolving credit facility is in check.
Problems with the downgrades by Finch does not help the revolving credit arrangements, but the BoE has stated strongly they are introducing bonds to underwite cash flow issues for corporations
what is needed is faith in the aviation industry and investor sentiment to return. The matket pychology around aviation is so reactive, its so fascinating to watch, any signs of setbacks or delays spooks the investors hence a gradual decrease from 272-210 in last 14 days.
There are people here on this forum talking of low share price drops , this is always a possibility as RR is in a real state of VOLATILITY governed by the market in aviation hence the reason that the low SP is down to fear and low market sentiment.
Many factors can swing this, I am optimistic in the sense that if aviation industry does collapse , then we are really looking at a Brave New World of low travel, being confined to countries, freedom of movement restricted...... And generally that brings in a worse economic depression impacting the rest of the Equity markets around the world
What we need as RR investors is to see in the next 3-6 months a agreed worldwide solution to making avaiation travel easy with the pandemic being kept in check. This uncrrtainty has spooked investors
RR H2 report outlook for the future is a worst case scenario, if market sentiment does not return to aviation.

Either way fingers crossed, and investors who are investing at this moment know that it is Volatile, degrees of uncertainty etc so.can expect further drops or rises.

Warren Buffet says generally to hold out and wait for recovery, he also says buy a share you believe in, the losses ar3 pyschology, and if u buy a share u dont believe will perform but only for short gains you adopt the day trade approach.

Well my story is bought in around 620 pence before crisis in Jan 2017 sold around 960, then re bought 32000 shares at 330 in July , and , so whilst i. Up in share numbers to the 600 pence outlay, the market is in full risk mode

Will we see a steady market sentiment towards reinvesting in RR this week and see strong gradual rises in SP by the end of week ?

If you really wish it to go to 80 pence, that means most investors will have pulled out and the company will be buggered in market sentiment etc, lets wish for it to remain high lol

That is weird as last few trades were at 227-229 pence on the LSE trading section

The ftse 100 and stox is not as bullish as USA, akot of low market sentiment towards Rolls royce, so that is reflected in the demand of share, politics dont drive share price, people decide to invest to raise the price

Market sentiment has factored in generally low or non dividend payments, being a volatile share and external factors it could rise to 500 and yet it could drop to 80 pence, Nobody really knows ! But we do know and can see it is a day traders and short traders dream to have stock like this fluctuating !

You forget 1 week ago it tested 272 prnce, it a volatile share, and can tose and fall with market sentiment and pyschology atound air travel and thr headlines of h2 earnings being a massive loss in ftse 100 history.....
No real signs of stability, currently its a roak off and high riak purchase in the sentiment of the market

Matlock, you state as if you know RR market. RR cant compete with the big players, who are they ? GE and RR have the monopoly on Engines manufacturing in aeronauaticals, there are no other big players !!

People.are buying at this price cause they see it as a potential value and quick income earner, its at its lowest ebb in terms of sentiment, but it has a niche market carved with only GE able to compete with them in aeronauticals engine production. Even with the Trent issues the shares were trading in range from 620-940.
