I wonder if The Shorts we’re increasing still in the hope we will crash out on the 31st Oct which is unlikely now .... I’m not sure how much it cost to borrow shares .. Do they pay a daily rate ... if so would they now want to hold them longer than expected....or do they expect more bad news ... this Brexit debacle could go on for months as I don’t think a General Election will solve this ... where do we go if there is a hung parliament... do we than have another GE or a second referendum... all will take time

Boomer ... the Governments own paper (operation Yellowhammer) states the problems along with every other business organisation going ,the NHS and 100’s of economist 95% of the talk is of risks and more risk ... I bow to your superior knowledge if you know everything will just be fine ... Boris is trying to crash out without a deal .. yes only 48%of the vote was for remain ... but I also would guess that a lot of leave voters are not fancying crashing out without a deal ... I voted remain happy for us to leave with a decent deal though ... Also on the Corbyn front and I’ve I stated this before I’m a labour voter but will not be doing so as long as he and McDonnell and Diane sit at the front of house .. my stepson is a labour MP and I tell him this all the time and the fact that Diane is the best recruiting Sgt for the Tories .. The backstop is only unnecessary for about 70 MP’s not many others care about it ... off course now all the People on this BB are experts on the backstop and are now vehemently against it ... PSA have already stated Vauxhall will be gone in no deal . The EU have struck a deal with Japan and they can now import vehicles in from Japan tariff free so I expect Nissan and Toyota will go ( to be fair I expect them to go in a few years even with a deal) I can see the Irony of those Nissan workers banging on about what will the government do to help us . It was your choice are the words I would like to hear . Personally now I can’t wait for us to crash out . LTI .. think you are missing the point .. we export to 27 EU countries .. our biggest market ... So xenophobic LTI decides I’m going to buy British produce only and starts th campaign for it .. So the xenophobes in the other 27 Eu countries do the same and the campaign is don’t buy British ... which country do you think will be worse off .. All will suffer but only to the proportion of trade they do with the UK ... We will take the full hit .... of all our trade

Eviking...i I think you are deluding yourself ... most people don’t have choices ... we are probably fortunate ones who have investments and savings ... Just check some statistics on child poverty ... working poverty .. and just look at the amount of food banks we have ... not sure you have walked around any town/city centres lately but I’ve noticed over the years the increase in homeless people .... eat or heat ... parents starving themselves to feed their children.... kids starving over school holidays .. school breakfast/dinners being their only meals ... the list is endless ... I don’t think they will give a toss where their food comes from ... However little Englanders will shout from the roof top that they won’t buy European produce .... Buy British etc .. well when the other 27Eu countries have their own Buy Fritz Buy Frog Buy Spic Buy Daigo Buy cloggie etc campaigns do you think that will help our exporters

Boomer ... problem with scrapping all WTO tariffs is that the Asian pig /beef/lamb farmer with no animal welfare standards or any standards at all will flood market with their cheap meat putting our farmers out of business... probably same with most things

I think you will be wrong there .. if we crash out they have already said that we will not charge any tariffs from Europe or anywhere else so we will still import from Europe it just may take a little longer to get here ... However Europe will charge tariffs on our exports .... But you maybe right the Argies May want to send us some of their finest Malvinhas red ****ed in by General Gaultierie and give it us at a very good price
