Give Matlot his due .. he’s sucked people in again with buy buy buy 250 by 10 the bang .. the shorts are giving this a big push ... they are a cunning breed .. He’s gone quiet again

BB as a relative latecomer here have they not been over this to bring it down to this price or is this just the litigation from DOJ .. The shorters probably didn’t see the litigation coming and the price dropped too quick ... Hasiba Trump and Magufulii are probably the same .. the difference is in the USA the institutions won’t let Trump get away with it .. where as Magufuli would have shot or imprisoned the whistle blower by now

Let’s hope that they have stopped selling now and the price will rise ...

I suspect some of those shorts closed yesterday and that will show up today

Just listening to wake up to money on Radio 5 ... The financial expert on their said the coupon rate almost sounds like a bridging loan I think he was suggesting that it would be taken over and that we would be back to the big four

From reading the RNS being confident of MREL by 1st Jan suggest that they have obviously made the calls that needed to be made and it’s sounds like they have it in hand ... Let’s hope this comes out soon to the market ... like most things these usually get leaked at some point

Matlot .... American hedge funds and Bramson sniffing makes this a little more positive for me ... I fear your 20p jar here.... maybe you need to look for another distress share yet ... in Naval terms this could have crossed the line here and after paying homage to King Neptune he mayb looking favourable on Mtro ... He may even inform the submarine Captain to launch a Polaris and watch it rise .....

Gggg.....whitebox increased a little yesterday I should imagine they will be reducing that as quick as they can Monday morning.. if they haven’t already started ... maybe it’s the same principle for them once an RNS as dropped they maybe wondering when the next one is coming ... no matter what Matlot says I get the feeling the shorters were left sided by that RNS

The positive I suppose is why would you give a grant to a company that could go pop if the DOJ squeezed to hard ... INDV must have had to explain their litigation with DOJ to get this grant .. surely.. again we don’t know how much the grant is ... my guess is because of the lack of a figure it will be relatively small .. but the RNS is basically saying to the market these people trust us

Does this suggest the recent steady slow decline in SP ... Their slight reduction in Holdings

Shorts increased again on the 24th ... nearly up to 10% so I wonder if those big buys today were some closure that will show up in the next couple of days on short tracker ...

Nov .... this is crying out for an RNS .... even if it’s just to say don’t worry this bank is well capitalised we will release are plans to the market in coming days but all is well at Metro Bank .... But the BOD seem very slow to react to everything... it’s either going down the pan and there is no plan B and they are running around headless or they just don’t seem to think there is a problem and can’t see what all the fuss is about

I was a shorters dream today I sold my 5100 shares that I bought at 277 for 2.20 followed by another 2700 at 210 taking bought at 370 so took a big hit today .. still hold around 5k at 490 so I don’t expect much from them
