Wids ... I think most of the Navy is shut down ... not much left now ... when did you join and what branch were you ... I was a WAFU so probably not classed as Navy but most in the Navy ... spent most of my time at Culdrose in Cornwall .. but did detachments at Portland and Prestwick .. also did 6 months at Yeovilton .. worked on Seakings ... spent some time on the Illustrious in 1984 .. Great memories of my short time and still in touch with lots of old shipmates ... In April this year I went to a Top Table on HMS Victory was an amazing experience... however I’d not been in Pompey since 1986 and I could not believe how much it had changed HMS Vernon is now Gunwharf quays shopping area .. I did my aircraft training at Daedalus which closed in 1995 but is now mainly a big housing estate ..

JLS.... when posting try and be factual.... I only did 26yrs in the police ... did 7 yrs in the Navy but joined at 16 so only 5.5 yrs of that time was pensionable so I got 4 yrs police pension for that ... got to say those 7yrs consisted of a tax payers world pub crawl but at the same time training like an athlete doing the field gun crew for the Fleet Air Arm in 1986 ... great times ...

I think you need to take your staunch Brexiteer blinkers off ... no one was ever going to get what they wanted ... and they did continually say it would be the easiest “deal” in the world and many more things about deals with the EU ... but that’s by and by now .. Also you may think the 21 stabbed Boris in the back ... well they could argue that the Previous PM was doing a difficult job but at least they held their nose and voted for something they didn’t want ... would you say the ERG stabbed TM in the back ... again they did but I’m sure will argue why and forget that these 21 MPs will have their reasons for doing the same to Boris ... Slean the fact is Boris needs their votes so I was suggesting that Cummings head was the premium for that .... Boris is power hungry and will not want to relinquish being PM ... the likes of spread sheet and some of the others in the 21 are coming to the end of their political careers so can be very choosy to the way they vote .. that’s a fact that you may not like ... but however is probably true ... their votes are worth gold now if a deal comes to the house and I’m only suggesting if I had been has loyal to the Conservative party has most of these have been I may be asking something for my vote

Brexiteers on here .. firstly why or why crash out ... like I said I voted remain but happy to leave with a deal ... like I pointed out 2 days ago about uk based stocks languishing.. sniff of a deal and for as long as I can remember over last 3.5 yrs I’ve never seen Lloyds rise so much in a day along with other uk stocks and sterling .. I suspect if a deal is agreed this will go up another 2/3p and if a sniff of getting it through Parliament another few pence however “dive dive dive” if it doesn’t ......So this is my serious question to my Brexiteer friends .... if you were one of the 21 MP’s sacked from the Tory party and you hadn’t joined the Lib Dem’s would you vote for a deal if it reaches the house ... You’ve not heard this in the media yet ( well I’ve not seen it ) but if you were spread sheet Phil and the likes would you be saying to Boris ... Or it could be somewhere in the middle they may have nothing to answer on some but on others may be prosecuted.... in the latter let’s hope they can reach the agreement which would I suspect be beneficial for SP ..Got to say though the open statement and letter from Chairman on the Indivior website are very strong in their denial of wrong doing ... if they knew they had breached any legislation I should imagine it would have gone along the lines of “We will cooperate fully with any court proceedings or DOJ investigations and defend ourselves vigorously “ ... I second this Jesse .... the hoo hah the other day ramped it up to 250p only to sink back down to 180 ..... if it rises steadily to around 270 ish I may start to think that this has some wind in its sails but we will have to wait and see .. heavily shorted stock is easy to bring down ... AA was over 65p last week today around 50p KIE hit 145 but they brought that down to under 110 again yes I know it’s around 120 now .... until shorts start to decrease this isn’t going anywhere fast unless RNS says there is an offer to go private or to be taken over .... In my opinion the shorts are holding on here forBrexit ... don’t forget ODEY has promised to fund the Tory party for the next 5/10 years if we crash out he will be holding firm until Boris gives him the nod ... if he holds then no deal it is unless everyone holds their noses and puts Corbyn in No10 for a few weeks
