Chate ... the really poor people try and take advantage of the system because they are desperate... you can’t blame them .. I always said that it’s the systems fault for making it so easy to default... Some people aren’t poor they are just clever and calculated and play the loopholes in the system ... I dealt with a lady once on behalf of the Benefits fraud team . She was 72 yrs old and lived in a 400k property .. her mother was turning 100yrs old so DWP made visits to see if she was alive so the telegram could be sent has she was claiming her state pension . They couldn’t get hold of said lady or 72yr old daughter who had been attending the post office to claim mothers pension . This was in year 2000 it transpired mother had died in 1972 and daughter had been claiming pension ever since ... over 100k .. suddenly daughter had onset of dementia and only lost £5 per week from her pension... your not always poor to defraud the system .....

Stage if ppl can't afford food it's because they are inept with their finances. Do these ppl have phones and broadband? Most probably too idle to learn how to cook. I came from the lowest of the low, I spent my childhood avoiding being knifed, so know what I'm talking about. Many of these 8 million are on the take and on the make not that you'd be remotely in touch.

Many of these people have had generations of poverty vulnerable children have suffered sexual/ mental abuse mostly through the care home systems the cycle continues and it’s hard to break especially in the past 10 years of austerity with every public service cut ... it’s not as simple as you think ... I’m no left wing loony that you may call me ... I’m a decent human being ... you maybe also but unfortunately your views on here make you sound like an heartless bas. Wids ....Off topic when you joined the RN did you ever come across LT Andrews ...he was a gunnery Officer but was known throughout the fleet as “ Shovel Face” obviously his face was flattened hence the shovel face tag he was also known for his booming voice . Every time I see Theresa Villiers she reminds me of him ... she has the same shovel face look

Can Alcoa recover?

I have found quite a few bombed-out shares for COTW recently - five of my last seven are Barclays (LSE:BARC), BT (LSE:BT.A), British American Tobacco (LSE:BATS), Metro Bank (LSE:MTRO) and General Electric (NYSE:GE). They are all on my Buy Low/Sell High list and all are in profit. I believe I can now add Alcoa (NYSE:AA) to it.

Drop today I’m going for back into 58’s ...HSBC results were dire ...sadly I’m expecting a huge PPI bill at the end of the week .... Until the next crisis I don’t know what’s going to keep the economy growing .PPI has kept the motor industry and the Kitchen industry going for the last 8 years or so ... I know we have Brexit uncertainty and a slowing world economy but motor sales slump in this country has been amazing... They must be gutted PPI has come to an end ...

Livestock...I’m going for £2.1billion PPI and for the 1st Quarter GDP figures to massively dip after they’ve spent it all at Xmas .....if not 1st Q definitely 2ndQ ..... Also no GE for Dec 12th and Labour will fill their election coffers over Xmas selling gender neutral non religious Xmas cards ... I’m going to buy a pack and send them to all my LLOY bulletin board friends :):):):)

3 months coming but no GE ... my opinion this will get twitchy in January and Tory hard remainers will fall in line and Corbyn form interim government with getting a second referendum and legislation for no deal .... Have I read this right £1.4B for PPI

Just reading BARC Q3 ... don’t take my word for this as I’m not expert but hidden in small print I’m sure the Money set aside for PPI is 1.4B think Lloyds will be much higher than expected

I don’t usually get carried away with the shorts closing blah blah blah ... but I do think in the next few days there will be a small reduction... only spanner in the works is a general election.. that could cause some instability for the market
