extended and now beyond that February 2023 deadline, no news , no extension
or further update why ?

Is it really all about Sunrise, or Timor , like with the breakdown of the sunrise talks
late 2022 , wanting a commitment written into the psc , discoveries to go to Beaco

Another question mark remains, with the potential return of Gusmao as PM
the Rauk Government as part of the incentives for the bid round cut, the fees
and taxes, Gusmao had in place, to be more competitive, still high but not as
crazy as before, for all new developments.

Will he return and wake up smelling the roses of 25 years of failure to get the
industry onside and make some compromise and concessions, or remove
Rauk's reductions ?

They have pushed their story to all and sundry for years, no takers, the new
blitz commenced after the Chinese visit in late summer, then the threats to
dump Australia and Woodside etc, it all smacks of desperation, born out of
the realisation (been told by local NGO for years) they are in deep **** and
heading for a massive fiscal cliff.

As for the media, they (Gov TG Minister) have fed them story after story of progress
and great developments for over 20 years, yet here they are, begin bowl out to all
even at the UN meeting, late 2022 , as they know it has to happen NOW

Still expecting all others to FUND it all , yet structured with large taxes and bias
revenues to Timor and wonder why no one biting. Still need to realise, has to be
something worthwhile, left in it for the industry developers.

It's not like the massive handouts they get from world banks etc, Woodside or
whoever ends up developing will need to see a sustainable bottom line.

If not , China might just take advantage, as their deals are all about , what else
comes to China in preferential trade and favours, for their assistance via BRI.

news sooner would be good, can't believe they are still stringing it out, the main excuse
over the years, was the 3000m+ deep trench , to cross with the pipeline to the Island, it
also a bit lame, as Conoco back in the 90's also did studies for Bayu-Undan to go to the
Island, near Bettano , the site of the Islands Oil refinery.

Conoco came up with multiple plans, the most feasible being, some fine innovation, with
a SUSPENDED pipeline, deep enough to be below Shipping traffic but either side of the
trench level with the seabed.

So they have known it can be done, with the will , for a long time, like Woodside , in the
end Conoco shareholders won out and decided it was an unnecessary risk at extra cost
so Conoco built the pipe to Darwin instead.

The main problem not so much the depth of the trench, it is the official geological seabed
movement of 4 metres, that will occur during a 30 year operational lifespan of the field.

Modern adjustable , lightweight materials , make it even more feasible today. GLA

but the last stuff I read was the NEW studies, could be as much as 6 months, which is
crazy, the originals years ago only took that and with modern tech and materials , it
should be much easier to re evaluate and tweak the plan.

Metinaro studies and survey's now in progress, the companies involved said it to could
be up to 10 months, so very much Q4 2023 before the pencilled in FID 2023 in play.

Bit of a crowd in the election already, some 20 or so parties but like here
only 3 will have most of the seats.

By no means set in stone that Gusmao will win, history says yes he will (superhero status)
but the leading party in Parliament currently ahead of his party ,around 30 v 34 seats last
looked, with the current PM Rauk's lagging well down on only 7 seats.

Chances of a coalition Government , very high. Rauk's party could well have the final sway.

Always fancied we would be the development to go with Metinaro , domestic
supply security plan BUT who knows, Santos could get it all done much quicker
and in taking Chuditch, do the Island a favour, first gas to Timor domestic needs
then develop the field further, into its new HUB with pipe from Darwin (dp project)

Joint pipes from Evans Shoal and Barossa to the Hub (bypass Tiwi Islands issue)
with backfills lining up for them from new developments in areas R and P

Santos , make Andy wet himself in April Golden Showers as the JV give him $800m
to go away, taking Sundagas 100% off Boil's hands, lol

Means Santos and its consortiums will now be even more focused on its dual
pipeline project, conversion of Bayu to waste disposal and the new pipeline
to feed its Darwin facilities (410m already budgeted) outputting waste to Bayu.

Got to be talks already ongoing with the Timor Government, they are part of the
new Bayu carbon capture JV, so will have to give Santos some assurances about
its own plans for future Darwin new pipe production, waste to Bayu, or risk losing
the revenues from cancellation of the Bayu CC project, if Santos frustrated and
decide to pick an alternate Carbon Hub also.

Santos , will not be held to ransom, they have said a new HUB and pipeline will be
built to their own facilities at Darwin, now just a matter of where they put the Hub

Between them , Santos and ENI have Southern area's R and P, either side of Chuditch
Santos also have additional assets in the Timor Sea Australian waters west of the
Timor Leste Zone they could use as a HUB, or as said before, could take Chuditch for
a HUB, bring the JV's pair Barossa and Evans Shoal across to that HUB or something
in area R or P

Santos , said a while ago , already expecting no input to their facilities at Darwin for
3-5 years as the new facilities put in place and new pipeline built.

Plenty of scope, on that timescale to do some major exploration and development with
ENI on area's R and P and/or any other new assets (chuditch ?) they obtain under their
standing JV/mou , to acquire more Timor Sea assets (Indonesia/Timor/Australia waters)

A £1m+ cash injection from the BNRG case

A $1m+ in IMC shares if returning to the license, or a 9.99% cut of the asset
in arbitration settlement, IMC looking for a minimum of US $63m

Potentially MNRG nicely cashed up on a settlement , to add to the recent influx
of £1m+ , which is more than the current market valuation.

Has to be a market correction coming, with the recent settlement, Gold Ridge
Victoria Gold etc, etc all thrown in for FREE.

As the recent RNA message over the rns news wire, first meeting has been held via
a video conference, MNRG held 9.9% of the asset and hold a CLN for US$ 341,441 to
date over IMC shares.

IMC's claim before the ICSID is for a minimum compensatory payment of US$ 63 million, plus
interest and legal fees, to be assessed. The ICSID tribunal designated to hear the claims has
now been constituted and the first hearing is scheduled for 9 March 2023.

The agreement between IMC and MetalNRG provides that repayment of the convertible loan
facility is either (i) via a conversion at 3 times the principal amount advanced into equity in IMC,
if the project is reinstated; or (ii) repayment of 300% of the principal amount advanced in cash,
in the event that IMC receives or reaches a compensatory settlement with the government of
Kyrgyzstan.

must be in their heads, Gusmao started the impasse, time he ended it, one way or
the other, as you say, Timor can no longer keep waiting, added hundreds to the
workforces of both Timor Gap and ANPM, so still no production coming to replace
Bayu/Kitan depletions , meanwhile a massive increase in staffing/wages.

More being added at ANPM , as it looks after minerals also and they are in the middle
of their first bid round for that right now.

Timor Gap , funded until first production by the state Petroleum fund (source of the budget)
and includes loans, like the $650m to cut price take over from Shell and Conoco at Sunrise
on the books TO BE PAID BACK IN FULL !!! when the revenues flow.

Timor , or Gusmao/Horta if both back in PM and President tag team role once more
after the election, will have ZERO interest in what Woodside have to say, unless it
is they have now agreed to come to the Island vice Darwin.

The one glimmer of real hope, was new Australian Labour PM Albanese, made a statement
supporting the resolution of Sunrise to the benefit of the people of Timor, perhaps his
Government also waiting in the wings with a sweetener and financial package, should
Woodside dither once more , between some extra millions and its shareholders views.
