I don't think that is particularly useful Radium, the last raise was mid '19 for the purchase, and raised £9m at 10pps.
10p with current price 37p, not bad.
Regarding your point, that was some time ago, before the current iteration of the company.
Totally is now bigger, more stable and in profit, with a good years trading coming.
This is not the company of 2017.
Small AIM companies raise money to survive, that's what they do. This company has got beyond that, and raises money to make acquisitions not for survival, any more.
In profit, vs dilution for survival.
No argument any more.
I'm sure that Tremor Int. is of interest to many.
However they have their own board here.
Seeing as how these companies are not competitors, not even in the same business, can we restrict ourselves to discussions relating to each company on their own board please.
I'm not interested in Tremor, who I'm sure are a wonderful company.
Thanks in advance to all.
Have a lovely evening.
Eddie, the results weren't bad. Maybe not the runaway profits that "the market" seems to want.
I suspect that now people realise that this is a solid company plugging away in the healthcare sector it's just time to take some profits. And profit there has been. This share has quadrupled in 18 months, not bad eh?
I suspect that Totally has some takeover targets in sight, they have cash.
They are back in profit, not a lot, but they have absorbed the last takeover company quite well I think, that takes time and money.
I don't know about that Radium, I've only been here for a year or so.
Having said that, the business does look good for the next 12 months.
The company have reacted pretty well to the past year's demands, and seem to have been flexible and reactive. They have obviously had to buy more equipment than they had planned in order to satisfy the new conditions. Staff and management seem to be working together.
Seeing as how much of the high margin work was curtailed last year, the results weren't bad. Albeit that those works were and are a small part of the total revenue. Now both the planned healthcare and the outsourcing are looking good for this year.
Seeing as you may have been here for some 5 years, watching the SP fall and fall until September of last year, I can certainly understand some cynicism. Hopefully you'll be above water sooner than you think and can enjoy some of the fruits of your patience (no pun intended).
Wendy was on ********** podcast today, perhaps that might cheer you up.
Best wishes and GLA.
Dividend should have dropped into your accounts today.
Thanks so much for the advice radium. Not exactly an analysis but more a rant.
Still each to their own.
I'm very comfortable with the progress thanks. Indeed as stt says the company is making progress. Acquisitions are being paid for, integrated and moving forward.
I guess that's it's all a matter of what price you paid isn't it.
This year's progress should be exceptional.
Kind regards and GLA
Agreed Tony. This management would jump onto a great deal if they were convinced that it were viable and available, and issue whatever shares seemed necessary to carry it through. Probably in Canada and not the NS. They have some guidelines for costs etc, and have done well to-date.
Eddie, not every segment of this business is low margin.
Insourcing is a very good margin, and looking to increase especially with the current NHS situation. This will likely make a big difference at year end.
Also, surely, there's nothing intrinsically wrong with low margin business, provided that it's consistent.
Anyway we'll see how they're doing when results are published, the trend will be visible.
If you have a broker who supports bed&ISA they can be transferred, but some brokers like HL don't do this anymore.
Prudent fox,
Yes for HL use client number. The allocation goes into your Fund & Share account in your portfolio.
I haven't run out of arguments Prawn, have hardly started. Clearly we are not going to agree, so I'm not taking this any further on this BB which is about Predator, in which I like many are invested.
So thanks for your inputs.
Hi Prawn,
It's not me using the"strawman" argument.
Whilst it maybe good for plants to have a little more co2 in the atmosphere, it's not proving good for animals, nor for a beneficial environment.
The environment is warming, co2 is a greenhouse gas, and a contributor to this. As is methane, which is even worse.
Do you really think that this is good for mankind?
I looked at the website you mentioned, supported and founded by legacy oil companies, and coal industry representatives. Turkey's don't generally vote for Christmas.
Kind regards
GRH.
There is often an extreme reaction to "green" or "renewables" as evidenced by some of the comments below, scammers and environment not changing etc.
If you don't like the term I used, I apologize, but the sentiment is real.
I always read your posts and value them immensely, you are a very interesting read. Thank you for your inputs.
Right, wrong, doesn't really matter to me, the affects of all this will be felt over the next few centuries, and I'm not going to see that.
I just hate standing by watching my habitat and environment being degraded to a boring monoculture.
Especially as it's so good for us as human beings, and coincidentally for business, to get proactive and start to change the ways we do things.
Regards
A fair article I thought. Carbon reduction is a necessary issue, as climate change is happening. This anti green hysteria is bizarre.
If power costs can be reduced by using "renewables" why wouldn't you?
NG use is going to continue for many years to come as far as I can see. Does anyone really believe that gas boilers are going to be replaced in the short or even medium term!
Technology is being developed to mitigate, reduce, replace many current high carbon technologies, and will probably do so with additional benefits, after all so many industries are legacy and inefficient.
Human population is still increasing, incomes and expectations rising, we have to do so much merely to keep still, after all as the red Queen said “A slow sort of country! Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”
I'm here for the long term, Predator are in a great place to make a difference, but we have to accept that things will change and, hopefully, improve. But then I'm an optimist.
Hi mdle 4, where did you get that figure from?
Thanks
