You need to go do some research maqssod, 5 ply IIRC mask is still just an IIRC mask, high risk procedures carried out by professionals are to be carried out using FFP3 masks, any type of IIRC will not do do as it's not fitted. NHS will not change those regulations, in fact with the new strain, more procedures will move into the category of needing FFP masks.

maqs They are IIRC masks, 3 ply, 4ply or 5 ply, if the they have not been showed to offer anything extra with published performance testing then they are just another IIRc mask. I spend time looking at shares before I invest, try it sometime, might save you some money.

FFP1 & FFP2 both offer superior protection to the wearer, I've researched this very thoroughly thank you. The fact that you use a phrase like "superior" without mentioning at what in particular shows how little you have studied this.

Richmond999 Not negative just facts, P2F need to show some figures to prove the difference the AV layer makes, according their own RNS it's a requirement for the large order they are hoping to get. @maqsood7 All you have, when the certification is done, is a normal IIRC mask with a filter layer that has not been shown to make any difference with any performance testing, 10p each is the going rate and it's a really small business!

Surely they could have run a few masks off on the machine in Spain and Fedex a few to old Blighty so Caveman could performance test them against other surgical masks to show people they actually make any difference. Nobody bothered about that.

Certification is the easy part, it's a low bar to reach, proof of what they offer beyond that is the tricky part because P2F can't be sure about that. There is no certification for the Nano tech to reach.

You could write the published info about any testing on the back of a stamp.

As for Innovate UK, RMS pulled a fast one, read the application/ state of intent, I posted it on here the other day, they said they would make FFP3 so Dorris Johnson and Mat Han*job were like Ooh ooh ooh blah ooh the doctor said they need them dooooo it.
Then the RMS said erm now we looked into it, we can't do it, we didn't know much about these mask making machines so we'll make the easy ones with the gaps.
I wuv their ability to think up the BS on the hoof, it's the sign of a true grifter, Victor Lustig himself would feel a warm glow of pride.
