Hardshell are going to be the main benefactors of the NHS demand, the Welsh government has backed a company that is, at present, the only producer of what the NHS needs, P2F promised that i=whilst getting the grant money but then changed tack. Shame we can't invest in Hardshell!

@Tankhill I can see workplaces buying these, events arenas, shopping malls etc. If the gimmick gets people wearing them then it can't do any harm, also if it takes pressure off those manufacturers that are supplying the NHS then that will help perhaps.

@Tankhill I'm sure other holders will be annoyed at me going over this again but there are 3 main types of mask, IIRC medical face masks, these are designed to catch large droplets from the wearer they are quite poor at stopping particles being inhaled by the wearer, they also allow fine particles out through the sides where they don't fit the face very well, this is the type P2F have decided to make (quite why, well that's all about getting them out quickly and catching a fast buck)
The other types are FFP1, FFP2 &FFP3 unvented respirators, they are fitted to the face and protect the wearer from large and fine droplets, they are in short supply and what the NHS need more of.
N95 Vented Respirators - Does what the FFP type does but the vent makes them less effective at stopping fine particles being spread.
The P2F masks will still let out fine particles just as any IIRC mask, I have seen no tests mentioned of wether particles landed on the outside of the mask are neutralized before they are re-aerosolized by out going breath, as it stands I can see no advantage over a normal IIRC mask, perhaps testing should show that once some have been produced, that'sthe wrong way around though IMO.

You know why it protects against all those things, because it's a respirator mask that is designed to and it does it even without an AV layer!
Great news about the Oxford vaccine.

I think UBS and DLAP being on board gives no indication at all of how many months are left to go, all along the timeframes are the thing that has been ramped more than the actual sale price here. DLAP at certain points will have a lot do and in between there will be periods where they are waiting too. UBS on success base fee so time not an issue to them. Finally we just have to take what has happened so far as evidence that things are moving multiple times slower than most on this BB think.
I expect this to drag well into february, I don't think investors will be disappointed with the final outcome.
Personally I am more excited about other investments now, I caught this too late, I will do OK here but really can't wait to take money from EUA to put elsewhere, it may be that I take more money out before EUA announce an offer, in hindsight I definitely should have already.

When I take money out of EUA it has the feeling like when I was a kid wagging school lol, been watching PAT for a while and got some regrets not pulling the trigger earlier there.

I'm not too surprised it dipped a little today , this has the feeling that it's going to be next year and other mining shares are offering faster returns. I sold a few today, still 90% in here and that will stay where it is but any new money I'm investing will be in other mining shares.
Some news in the next week for sure.

The Mask sucks, the mask wasn't developed, the technology was, the value here is in the technology when it finds a proper use, LTH will do OK in time IMO

The money came here looking for more money and most of it didn't care much if the product being hyped was up to much, they went back on their initial stated aim of producing Respirators, why did they originally state that aim, because they knew that was what the NHS needed (alarm bells)
IMO it isn't up to much and that is why I wouldn't back or trust Cave, why I wouldn't trust the BOD is a whole other kettle of fish.

A Covid-19 particle is smaller than 0.1 micron, according to South Korean researchers, and can pass through a surgical mask."

Smaller particles get in through the gaps around the sides of surgical masks, no good for protecting the wearer.

Respirators are the solution and nanofibres are the future gold standard.
