ATSC 3.0 will go Global, and that is good for the ecosystem. We are working to impact every market we can in every way imaginable. atsc 3.0 going global...was it not mentioned that ttv would go global. imagine places like india/pakistan SOUTH AFRICA where the income is low, they cannot afford data charges but can afford the one off fee to purchase a device....live free tv. beginning to make sense now and answering a lot of questions...tablet tv could be massive!!! think about it. siyaya....atsc 3.0. would explain the delay. going global with a new device with a robust atsc 3.0 signal, some one tell me this cannot happen and bring me down from this cloud lol.

thanks Bing, we have had 9 months in the doldrums, hopefully things are about to change for the better, dont think a spot of positivity will be amiss on this board, it appears nobody is now sure about the future of this company...not even the doom merchants. tomorrow is another day and it may well be that it brings news that dispels any positivity...but thats another day and today i am feeling positive... long may it last!

firstly apologies for going on and on about ATSC 3.0 and hopefully some connection. i,m just trying to find a solution that answers all the questions i ask myself, trouble is the more i look for answers the more questions i ask myself. why is it not available in Canada? same signal broadcast so the same tpod would be ok, i,m sure there is an Amazon in Canada.....why not release it there. all points to this current device being a prototype. why do they have a mobile and fixed uk product and just a mobile usa product.....can only think that there was no fixed product already available to use with a atsc 1 tuner...showing the reluctance to have one designed and manufactured. trouble with my investigations is my tech knowledge is minimal so i keep expecting one of you to say "no its not possible because or it cant happen because". Just cant believe that what is on show today is all we are going to see. oh! something that Len said thats bugged me since..." we will not be the only ones but we will be out there first" anyway just food for thought over the weekend.

does there have to be a multi million pound deal on the cards? we just need the creditors to accept some sort of compromise and then an amazing product that everyone wants....i mean after spending all those millions intergrating the two techs they must have something? yes motive television services is still active and receiving revenues from ttv uk and any contracts still in force. however its motive television plc that have submitted proposals and have been approved. As i have mentioned before WHY go to this trouble to carry on something to be in the same position in 6mnths/ years time. LETS be positive. At least now the old board have gone and i doubt if theres one person on here sorry to see them go. Hopefully now we have someone trying to sort out the mess left behind which is in his own interests as well as ours. may well be that nothing will come of all this but i know i feel a little more positive than i did a few months ago.

personally i think they were given a mighty push. i think for the company to continue then new faces are needed. i think Len &co have lost all trust and respect given their remarks and history over the last few years.

Well firstly i was expecting/hoping that we would have got more detail of the proposals. From what i can see the company have submitted intentions to the administrators which have been approved enabling a stay of execution from being struck off the register and the company beng dissolved. what proposals have been submitted obviously included the resignation of the BOD. but what else i have no idea....basically i think we are all still in the dark but with slightly more hope.

what i cant understand is why they continue to flog this dead horse. the product is out there on the market and is not exactly setting the world alight.....why not just call it a day? something is yet to be revealed imo. i know i have mentioned this before but cant help feeling we are some how tied in with atsc 3. as i said before my tech knowledge is minimal but just feel as though there must be a reward for the company to persevere with this. hopefully tomorrow we will be wiser.

interesting development. lets wait and see what the propsals are, hopefully will be available to view tomorrow. liked the sound of this... It is not uncommon to see the company offer to pay a percentage of the debt owing prior to the filing, either as a lump sum payment or payments over a period of time. Proposals can include an offer of shares of the company in exchange for the debt outstanding or a combination of cash and shares. unlikely i know but they must have something to offer the creditors. a little more encouragement and a little hope if nothing else.

hard to argue with what you say bloch, well to me its a case of the bod getting cut off half way through doing the job and someone is going to takeover and finish it or they having simply deceived shareholders with the pretense of obtaining money. which ever i,m sure we will find out soon. i am fully prepared to accept it could be the latter but i,m so am hoping its the former.

updates were done on the 12th oct, mtv were not due for dissolution untill the 30th so not in the hands of the crown untill 30th according to the gazette notification. but as you say someone has done these updates for a reason.
