RE: March11 Mar 2018 16:05
i realise that some pis do not have the time to do a lot of research so i do not apologise for posting what i think is relevant historic information regarding what i think could be future developments.
Have a free day today...nothing to do so i thought i would look into the history of Cap-xx, going over old news can be very informative.
Must admit though the general trend is" jam tomorrow", so many predictions, targets not met....
Headlines of... "busy times, we have a lot happening"
"its been a great period with a lot of development"...the increase in staff and production facilities are all indicators of good things to come...maybe a little more patience is going to be needed but confident that they will achieve big things.
In 2006 Cap-xx had a m/cap of 45.2m.....with no Murata licence deal, no AVX licence deal...no thinline, 45.2m based solely on Cap-xx ip!!
heres a snippet of info for OS who if memory serves me right asked a question about upfront fees from Murata.
"In March 2010, Murata and CAP-XX formally announced that they had entered into a collaborative Research & Development Agreement to investigate the production of a second generation supercapacitor which will have the capability to be "surface mounted" using reflow solder techniques. Although the agreement was signed in March 2010, the statement of works associated with the Agreement was commenced in September 2009. CAP-XX will receive consideration of A$1.43 million over four equal instalments with the first two instalments received during the 2009/10 financial year. The remaining instalments are due to be received in the 2010/11 financial year."
