Not sure why you posted that photo as an example of what it should look like, as that photo is of a pipeline Serbia, very different terrain to Ecuador, and a much larger pipe to.

The last time this was brought up and was hyped as a major concern and head will roll and all that, it was pointed out that this does not represent accurate data.
So before it all gets out of hand again, can we agree, it is data, but not accurate and therefore can be ignored by all right minded people.

The company has been financially hindered by the action of ARSO for at least 5 years, it would be easy to prove it's happened, the compensation would be the difference between where the company is now as a business, against where the company would have been if the permits had been delivered on time.
I would say at a guess this would be in the region of £200m, others will have their own opinion on this figure.
What ARSO do now is irrelevant to that claim.
This is a business not a charity or play thing.

An interesting situation Ascent fine themselves in now, but in my view they should commence legal action against the Slovinian government, in fact I said this some two years ago.
If you put to side the €50m invested, look at how Ascent have been financially hindered for 6 years by the incompetent actions of Slovenia. You have to compare where the company would have been to where it is today, the difference could be €200m. That should be the claim now, regardless of the ministers intentions and what happens next, Ascent should have been a very good high proffit company by now but, it's now bearly got the lights on.

Just for the record, I was invested here for a number of years, I have been out for a couple of months but for the share holders I wish them luck.
