All profits held in an ISA are tax free, as long as they originated from within the initial wrapper limit for that year. What don't you think is correct about that?

Jdavo - you don't pay any tax on any amount of profit in your ISA wrapper. It's not limited to 20k.
The 20k is the wrapper allowance.
For example if you put 20k in your ISA. This is the full tax free allowance. If that 20k then made you £1 billion pounds. The £1 billion pounds is tax free.

Hi Sharefall, I topped up today - I was pre RI and the price today went a touch below my cost price with full RI, so grabbed another 10k after selling my Weatherspoons shares which were in a good spot :)

... this is defo the quietest forum in my share portfolio!!

I sold today at the high, I will re-buy later if it gets to 960 again. Even though good progress on COVID and this is a great share, I took advantage of the drop in RR today as it's at an almost all time low.
If it doesn't get to 960, I'm not fussed as don't see too much more considerable gains to be had with a continued lockdown and continued restrictions when allowed to re-open.

Don't know what grade we are expecting in Bahamas, people are saying a light oil which is obviously better than heavy.The middle East typically have light oils that need little refining. On the other end of the spectrum - take Venezuela, I was loading oil in Venezuela on a tanker and everyone on deck had breathing apparatus because it was high H2S heavy. So when you are measuring the Ullage, Temperature and Interface from the Ullage ports you were under air. We all had personal gas meters and even though the accomodation block of the ship was under positive pressure we were getting massive headaches and feeling sick with gas detectors being triggered.Venezuela imports it's refined oils as they don't have much if any refining for their heavy oils.There was a global fuel sulphur cap introduced this year to 0.5% from 3.5% for ship fuels and a lot of areas form an 'ECA' which further limits it to 0.1% sulphur. Ships were the big burners of heavy oils but that's changing slowlySo you want a light and low sulphur content ideally.

Limit orders +/- 20% is normal practice for most trading platforms. This is to prevent you making a BIG mistake!
However, call your friendly platform provider to place them outside of these limits and they shall oblige.

I find it alarming BOTH standby vessels are off station (moored in Palm beach and the other in gulf of Mexico) as it is normal requirement (mandatory) to be within 3 miles of a rig , let alone a drill ship!
I double checked with an ex colleague who works for Swire Pacific and he also agrees it's mandatory..
