They are far from an ideal situation thats for sure. Only interested in day trading this at the moment.
The long-term stability is far far away. Don't get emotionally attached to this one.

I have sold my Tullow at 51p, I ideally wanted 60ish but I thought I'd average down on my Rolls shares which have taken a hammering. 33p was my average here so I was fortunate.

I would like to offer my condolences to all invested in here. I have also lost out big time in other shares in the past, similar situations.
My advice would be to leave with something rather than nothing. But do what you got to do.

22 months later, the same abysmal price. Most definitely the worst performing share in my portfolio. Good job I don't have a huge percentage in it. Absolutely laughable.

Not doing that well, let's be honest. Enormous debts and reasonable share dillution is not 'doing rather well'. But thanks for the continued ramping a long with sidekick Ken ;).

SDRT is a fixed percentage, nevertheless I always think it's from these trading apps like 212.. that's the only thing I can think of as most grown up trading platforms have a fixed trade price. Which actually works out cheaper for the most part as they don't take you to the cleaners on spread difference.
Anyway I'm no expert, what do I know..

Be careful, we have thought this many times before and been disappointed for years. I personally wouldn't hold your breath for anything spectacular. Although I hope I'm wrong, I just have been here a while and it's far from predictable even on 'good news'.

The problem with the airlines is not too many customers, it's not enough staff. You could somewhat relate that to Carnival also as they too are having problems with staff and have had to take ships out of service. Have all your foreign crew at home for 2 years without pay, of course they will go elsewhere and have absolutely zero loyalty.

My whole portfolio is down about 30% pre Covid. I took a 30% pay cut throughout Covid to keep my employment. I was averaging 8% returns a year pre Covid. It's just a sorry state of affairs.. I realise people have done quite well here and there but I personally am, although it's hard to say about £60k worse off than if the last few years hadn't happened. No light at the end of the tunnel it seems, even on the mornings if good newsor expected good news.. I reckon the next nail in the coffin will be China and Taiwan kicking off.
